All the basics are there. A/C, big room, decent bed, hot water, bottled water on arrival, helpful staff. Excellent location--good value for that neighborhood

Despite the name, this place is definitely not elegant. Old house that has been converted, and place has seen better days. But very functional and clean.

Super clean and comfortable rooms not far from the center in a quiet area. The host is very helpful and the building is really beautiful.

Good air conditioning, balcony, roof access. Common fridge and water filter. Very welcoming manager. Cool rocking chair. There was a big table there.

No spare toothbrushes and a hard bed frame. The mattress was great and soft, we just knocked our knees into the frame three times, and it left bruises

Breakfast was wonderful. The buffet had plenty to choose from. My mom and I signed up for a massage and it was absolutely wonderful. I left all the oil on for the rest of the day...the pool is fantastic and this is a great spot if you are traveling with kids.

For me, everything was great. I was traveling with three children age 5 and under and the pool was a huge hit. Their menu included club sandwiches and other western food items that my children eat, so it was a great stay. The rooms were clean - I wish the bathroom wasn't outside. I had a little mini frog come through the drain and it scared me half to death! Looking back, it's funny, but at the time freaked me out! My kids loved it, of course.

What I liked was the hospitality of the owner as well as of the caretaking manager Wimal. The location is very close to a big supermarket and very well connected to the Colombo fort and Pettah area. The owner also helped me by suggesting places to buy spices etc. Mr. Wimal also made sure I was comfortable with the facility and the area. I was given a very big room and the bed was very comfortable and clean.

The property is quite old now. Definitely not as in the photos. The bed and sheets were clean but the bathroom was really below standard. I found two big cockroaches there and it grossed me out. The bathroom floor and tiles on the walls were also not clean. The walls also had moisture and a bit of mold. Overall it was a really bad bathroom.

Damp and mold on the walls in the room and bathroom. Shower cubicle needs re grouting. Needs upgrading. The price was reasonable for Colombo but a certain standard should be maintained. The manager wasn't particularly warm.

Extremely spacious and clean property. Location very good in Colombo 3 and value for the area. Staff extremely helpful and was relaxed with my check out time. Plus offering help with anything I needed whilst staying in Sri Lanka.

Clean bedding and towels

Very difficult to find. Unhelpful phone communication. No help getting transport when leaving property. Had to drag cases up an unpaved road to the main road and hail passing Tuk Tuks. Property in desperate need of refurbishment. Only views from balconies were of a concrete wall. Deluxe twin room very small and shabby. Family room larger but shabby. Would definitely not recommend to friends

It was a great place to recover after long flight

Very good quality for reasonable money. The receptionist is exceptional, very helpful and always smiling. The room is spacious with patio and two beds. The beds are super comfortable.

The place is a bit difficult to find for drivers if you order a taxi, even though it added a marking arrow lately.

Definitely one of my favourite places. I have just met an English couple and I suggested that it was the place to stay in Colombo. It is fairly centrally located. It is by the embassies and close to the sea in an area that is historically interesting. I particularly liked the French Bakery (Baguette French Bakery and Cafe, 31 Queens Road, Colombo 00300). This cafe was packed with an interesting clientele while everywhere else was empty. A genuine French woman running the show and some French clientele. ++++ I liked the old fashioned furniture. The generous use of space within the building: hallways, gardens, terraces, etc. And generally, the old-fashioned charm. An Oasis indeed! Furthermore, my room was generously proportioned, with a balcony.

First of all, it is good that you can use one room and one bathroom at a reasonable price. Also, the location is good to go everywhere in Colombo, and the staff is very friendly. It's a big house, so it has a different charm from apartments and hotels.

But for me,the cleanliness was a bit disappointing. There were some bugs in the beginning. So after spraying the bug medicine that the staff gave me, the bug didn't come out well. I know that it is difficult to find accommodation without bugs in Sri Lanka at all, but I was not satisfied as I expected that the cleanliness score was high. 한쿸붐들 쩔때만쪽할 수 없능 청결돕님담.

The management and the staff are very friendly, attentive and caring. I booked a room at Elegance Oasis for my mother who had to visit Colombo for an appointment. I contacted the property to check if they can assist my mom with transportation and location guide for food and restaurants. I was concerned because of the current ongoing crisis situation in Sri Lanka. they were fast in responding and ensured me that they will assist my mom with anything she required during her stay. They also updated me through messages during mom’s stay and after check out. Mom is very happy with the service and assistance she received. We will definitely return back in the future if we decide to stay in Colombo.

A great place to stay, Reasonable price, room is very spacious and comfortable. 10/10 for the hygiene. Yes it's very clean. Towels, extra towels, soap, shampoo,toothpaste, hair dryer, complete tea making set with cofee and milk powder packets. also a very beautiful place. G.Manager Mr.Thusitha is very friendly and helpul. Very good communication with guest. Mr. Wimal who take care and maintain the property also a great guy. very helpul and a kind person. 10/10 for Oasis

Location is exceptional. Easy access to major roads, transportation, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Full kitchen access was available. Excellent WiFi connectivity and air-conditioning. Secure residential area. Large room with attached bathroom. Pristine, clean white bed linen, and towels. Would recommend and come again.

Some of the woodwork was a bit dated.
