Jacopo and Beatrice are wonderful hosts who went out of their way to welcome us. My family had the loveliest time, exploring Tuscany and simply, enjoying the beautiful villa and cooking up a storm! Great location too - will return for a longer stay in the near future!
5.0
The Villa exceeded my expectation in every way! The views and sunsets from the terrace and tower were unbelievably stunning. Beatrice and Jacopo were amazing hosts who made sure our stay was great! Highly recommend the welcome dinner and the cooking class! Both were fun and absolutely delicious. The Villa is in a great location where you can visit Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano and many more small towns each offering their own charm and fun! I am not usually an early riser but it was well worth the extra half hour of sleep to enjoy Beatrice's hearty breakfasts. If your thinking of a trip to Tuscany this is THE place to stay! Lots of space to spread out in the living areas with 8 well appointed bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. I highly recommend this Villa! Beatrice and Jacopo treated us like family! I hope I get to go back someday!

Wonderful villa and fantastic hosts in a beautiful corner of the world!

There is nothing negative to say. Our group of 12 friends could not have been happier. As has been said so often, the hosts were incredible. The breakfasts and suppers were excellent as were the restaurant recommendations. One of the highlights was the olive grove and pressing tour on the property next door.

We loved it. Bigger than we thought from pictures. Very roomy. Amazed at great restaurants close by. San Casciano is great.

We loved the property and our lovely hosts, Beatrice and Jacopo. Traffic from a nearby road the only thing which marred the otherwise perfect property for a family like ours, 13 people, ages 8-83. Beatrice and Jacopo prepared 3 wonderful meals for us and the meal on the Saturday of our arrival was particularly appreciated. The 8 year old, in particular, loved the pool. All in all it was a delightful week.

Our stay at "Torre in Chiati" was truly a dream come true - wouldn't change one thing about our time at this incredibly beautiful and highly spacious and functional Villa, except to stay longer. The surrounding Tuscan scenery and all of the Villa amenities were fantastic. Our hosts, Bea and Jacopo, were outstanding - we so appreciated their warm and sincere hospitality - they are truly the magical spirit that makes the Villa the very special and fantastic paradise that it is. Also, we really enjoyed Bea and Jacopo's delicious dinners (one of three being their cooking class) on the Villa patio, enjoying each other's company, watching the spectacular sunsets and listening to music. Our group of 16 people ranged from 24 - 65 years old - we all came away with the same feelings, i.e., how blessed and fortunate we were to be able to experience such a phenomenal and memorable vacation at Torre in Chianti.

This is THE Tuscan Villa you dream about, 8 bedrooms en suite tastefully decorated in the regional colors, surrounded by silver gray olive groves and towering cypresses. The location is breathtaking, especially when seen from the tower with it's 360 views of the Tuscany countryside , so stunning at sunset. We were a family group of 11, with ages from 9 to 71 years, and we all agreed this was the best family vacation ever. The kids loved the pool and games, adults loved the endless supply of great local wines from their own cellar. But what made this Villa's rental really stand out, was it's managers Beatrice and Jacopo. We cannot say enough good things about them, They are lovely people, who make you feel they really care deeply about providing the best experience possible for each group of renters who
come through their doors. They provided SO many services for us, from transfers to and from airport, rental cars delivered and waiting at the villa, delicious meals cooked and set up either on the delightful terrace or the dining room, tours arranged by them - we could go on and on, but you get the the point. Always responsive to texts, flexible to change in plans - we will never forget the cooking lesson they arranged on fairly short notice for my husband and I, with our 3 grandchildren, changing the usual menu to include their favorite dishes of lasagna and meatballs in ragu sauce. These are what Family Memories are made of - thank you Bea & Jacopo!

Jacopo and Beatrice were great hosts and were always available to answer any needs we might have. The Villa became our home for all 18 of our family while we celebrated our 55th anniversary. It was spacious and so close to Florence and the many other beautiful towns. The cooking class is a must as was the wine tasting. If you want a magical time in Tuscany, this is the place to create wonderful memories for your family. You will not be disappointed. Joan and Tom and family

Excellent! Many thanks to jacpaco and Beatrice for all of their amazing cooking and hospitality! A trip full of memories!

Nestled in Chianti country, this beautiful villa offers an idyllic setting, access to delicious food and wine and is less than 1 hour to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and many picturesque Tuscan hill towns. It is slightly more than an hour to Lucca and Arezzo if these two less crowded gems are on your radar. The hosts (Jacopo and Beatrice are welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this property for your next visit to this region of Italy.

We visited in June 2023 with our extended family of 18. The villa was spacious enough for all of us to eat, sleep and hang out. There is a wonderful pool, and to sit on the back porch and absorb the scenery is wonderful. This house is removed from Florence, but that is not a bad thing - it is cooler and nicer in the hills, thanks why Florence’s wealthy have always had villas there. We did not have cars due to the group size, so we used wonderful Tau Touring from Lucca for a 21 passenger bus. A few times we walked 20 minutes into Chiesa Nuova for gelato or surprisingly good pizza and sandwiches. So… the house is really nice, and hundreds of years old, but modernized. However, what really made the trip was that attentions of Jocopo and Beatrice. They stocked the house with groceries, cooked us delicious meals, led us in a cooking class, and were just such super lovely people. They were great at communicating and worked really hard to make our visit enjoyable. We were sad to say goodbye to them!
You won’t regret staying here…

Our group of 9 adults stayed here just last week. WOW! Everything about this home is wonderful for larger groups. It is spacious (each room has its own bathroom, too), it is comfy, and the property itself is updated with the Italian country touch. Beatrice and Jacopo were absolutely wonderful to work with over this past year when we began our booking process. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.
We took advantage of the welcome dinner (a MUST!) It was the perfect way to begin our stay, as we had been traveling all day and the last thing we wanted to do was think about what to eat. We also took advantage of the cooking class (we are all cooks in our kitchens, but it was fun to learn some new techniques and hang out with B&J!), and we also did the Tuscan dinner our last night. All the food was fabulous!
This home is a ways away from anything to do, so I highly recommend taking advantage of setting up planned transportation. We went into Florence twice, and then spent a few hours down in the center of town by the villa for some gelato. It is walkable, but please be careful of the cars! Definitely a daytime activity.
We also took the local bus (stop is at the end of the driveway) to Villa Machiavelli one day for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant! And it’s only a 5 minute bus ride from the villa!
All in all, this stay was 10/10. Our family spent our days at the pool, having coffee on the rooftop terrace, and spending our nights with LOTS of wine!

This villa is more beautiful than the pictures provided! We can’t say enough good things about our hosts Beatrice and Jocopo! They were with us every step of the way as we planned for two years. They were always so helpful and kind. Don’t miss the welcome meal and the cooking school that they offer. It was a family highlight!

We were a group of thirteen friends who wanted to go to Italy and explore the area around Florence. When looking for a Villa the size of the villa, the number of bedrooms and baths as well as an outdoor space and pool were important to us and I can tell you this Villa did not disappoint any of us! The hosts Jacopo and Beatrice helped in numerous ways that made our stay even better. They prepared a welcome dinner and numerous other dinners and breakfast. The BBQ is not to be missed as well as our last evenings dinner. They also catered to guest with food restrictions as well as vegetarians. The food and desserts were delicious. They also set up delivery from the airport and back again as numerous other pick ups as well. Jacopo and Beatrice were a delight and we Thank Them for making our holiday much more special! I would recommend staying here again and again!

The home was spectacular, but the hosts were the icing on the cake. Jacapo and Beatrice did a wonderful job, and the experience wouldn't have been the same without them. they are very helpful and good people. Close to Florence, but with a beautiful country setting.
I suggest:
-breakfast by J and B
-a few dinners by J and B
-the cooking class by J and B
-let J and B arrange local transportation
-dinner at the place about a mile away (at Machiavelli's house) but I can't remember the name
-don't rent bikes, the roads aren't made for them
we will be going back.

We spent a week at this beautiful villa with some of our closest friends (April 15 – 22, 2023). Our group of 7 couples have been friends for more than 25 year and we’ve been talking about a week trip together for a long time. We finally did it – at this villa 20 minutes outside Florence. The villa was an outstanding choice and Jacopo and Beatrice our hosts provided everything we could have wanted. The villa itself was a beautiful place to stay - 8 bedrooms/8 baths, swimming pool, lovely terraces, large comfortable dining room and gathering room and a bonus – a pool table that was used every day. Also a tower with the most gorgeous sunsets that we enjoyed on many evenings.
Our hosts Jacopo and Beatrice were so friendly, kind and helpful. It was a busy week visiting Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Vinci, and San Gimignano - along with 2 Tuscan winery tours. We cannot say enough about the assistance that Jacopo and Beatrice provided to us during our months of pre-planning as well as during our stay. They scheduled (and sometimes rescheduled based on our changes) all of our transportation needs to and from the villa as well as coordinated our transportation to all of the different places we visited during the week. (We even had the same drivers all week long which was wonderful – Leonardo and Enzo were terrific!) At our request, our hosts provided breakfasts and some of the dinners – all of which were excellent. Highly recommend having them provide at least the welcome dinner – it was so easy the first day to just arrive, unpack, relax, eat and drink wine after our travels. All week there was a continual wine selection available which was excellent – and appreciated! We also had our hosts conduct a cooking class for us which was so fun - and the meal was delicious! They also provided us contact info for our Florence tour of the Uffizi and Accademia – and the tour guide (Alessia) was great – as well as made dinner reservations for us on the days we were out on excursions. We highly recommend this lovely villa, Jacopo and Beatrice as hosts and all of the wonderful services they provide! Best vacation!

This Villa provided everything it promised it would be. Our group of friends had some great experiences and made life time memories together. The hosts Jacopo and Beatrice were the kindest hosts and made our experience in Tuscany so memorable. We are so grateful for their expertise and assisting us with all of the planning and the additional services they provided. We will definitely be back!!!

This villa was PERFECT for our family of ten. I chose this villa based on the proximity to Florence, but most importantly, because of what Jacobo and Beatrice have to offer. The two of them are AMAZING. Kind, so helpful and FABULOUS cooks. They scheduled (and rescheduled after a canceled flight) transportation to and from the airport and train station. They arranged for our rental car to be dropped off at the villa. They had our groceries delivered before we arrived and a very nice wine selection for us to choose from during our stay. But the best part of the entire trip was their food. Choose the welcome dinner. You will appreciate it after a long travel day. And last but not least, do the cooking class. We enjoyed it so much and multiple family members proclaimed it the BEST meal we had in Italy. It was amazing and the most perfect afternoon and evening together. It was our most favorite day of our entire holiday! I highly recommend this villa. Jacobo and Beatrice will take excellent care of you! We hope to be back soon!

Jacopo and Beatrice’s Villa is a lovely place to celebrate any occasion with family and friends.
We were lucky enough to celebrate Thanksgiving week with our family(13) at the Villa.
The Villa is nicely decorated inside and outside. The back area has a beautiful pool, manicured lawn, outside dining area and terrace seating as well, all nicely lit at night.
We took advantage of adding the breakfast each morning, pizza night and an amazing Tuscan dinner for Thanksgiving ; a very special treat.
Jacopo and Beatrice were very gracious helping us coordinate and even offering suggested tours during our stay:
Wine tour and a must see Olive tour next door; both extremely fun and memorable.
Rental car is necessary while staying there, but on occasion, Jacopo would coordinate a van to carry a group of 8 of us to Florence, which was a huge help.
Both Jacopo and Beatrice helped make our stay in Tuscany a vacation we’ll never forget.

We rented the villa for a week to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary - the pictures do NOT do it justice! The entire property was stunning and we had the absolute best time. Beatrice & Jacapo were immaculate hosts and were attentive to any questions or concerns we had. The two dinners they cook us were easily the best meals we had in Italy - which is no small feat as all of our meals were fabulous. We also did a cooking class and had the best time. Everything was fairly priced and I cannot recommend their villa enough to anyone interested in the trip of a life time!

Not only was the property beautiful, but it actually matched what was advertised! Fabulous hosts, beautiful views and an awesome experience! I highly recommend this villa!

The villa was amazing!! Everything you needed was provided for. Jacopo & Beatrice were wonderful hosts…we asked them to prepare dinner, breakfast and even a cooking class for our group…amazing experience!! The villa and property are well-located and a short distance from Florence. This is really a wonderful choice if you are considering to rent a typical villa in Tuscany. Thank you Jacopo & Beatrice!!

What amazing hosts! The food, the recommendations, the responsiveness were all perfect. Thank you so much for making everything so nice.
The stay was excellent but I do want to note for future guests two things. One there is a lower level of the home that was occupied by the owner during our stay. He wasn’t intrusive at all and it’s definitely separated from the rest of the house but it took us by surprise when we saw the activity and a stranger working and repairing things outside. Second, the beds aren’t the best. Considering the cost, the home definitely could use an investment in new mattresses in several of the rooms.
I would definitely recommend!

Our group of 12 was comprised of two couples, adult children (ages 19 to 24) and a fun-loving grandma who led the pack. We booked the villa 10 months in advance of our trip and the communication with our hosts, Jacopo and Beatrice, was fantastic from then until the day we left. They are very gracious and answered all of our MANY questions and arranged so much for us—from transportation services, tours, and restaurants to grocery shopping. The villa is very clean and features eight bedrooms, each with private bathroom. Our group enjoyed al fresco dining on the terrace, frequent dips in the pool, and evenings playing billiards in the living room. We took advantage of the daily breakfasts prepared by Beatrice, the welcome dinner and two additional dinners prepared by the l hosts. We highly recommend taking advantage of the grocery shopping services as the hosts know where to source everything from fresh cheeses to gluten-free items.
The villa is in a very calm country setting about 30 minutes outside of Florence. It is a good idea to have a rental car as the property is not walkable to restaurants/shopping/train station etc. The hosts were fantastic about arranging van services for us, but we still found having a car helpful.

So many factors contributed to this most wonderful stay: the sweeping views over vineyards and olive groves, the beauty of the villa itself, its comfort, shopping for necessities and Italian delicacies at the Coop, the proximity of Florence and San Gimignano and fabulous restaurants recommended by Jacopo and Beatrice., wonderful hosts, whose superlative cooking is not to be missed!
5.0
Having just returned from the villa, I can say that the villa is excellent. The hosts Jacopo and Beatrice are lovely, friendly and helpful, as well as being professional. We had a number of meals (the welcome dinner, bbq, and cooking lesson producing a 3 course meal) cooked by them and the food was excellent as well as plentiful for leftovers! The have excellent knowledge of the area and gave us good parking recommendations for Florence, which for a minibus for 8 people was essential, as well as some lovely restaurant recommendations that produced excellent, local food at reasonable prices.
The villa had everything we could have wanted or looked for during a weeks stay. The only downside is that the decking by the pool needs maintenance so we had to watch our footing.
The location of the villa is excellent, not far from a small town to get supplies as well as a good location for travelling to Florence, Sienna and San Gimiagno, not to mention vineyards for wine tasting!
Overall, a memorable experience for everyone on holiday! thank you so much, we're just disappointed that you're so popular we can't visit sooner!

family reunion
Our hosts, Beatrice and Jacopo, are wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and made our stay very enjoyable. They prepared dinner for our large group almost every night with a variety of Tuscan dishes for the adults (never the same, so really a variety of dishes) and simpler food for the children. They also helped us arrange tours to Florence, wineries, etc and made reservations at various restaurants in the region.
Torre in Chianti is a lovely house in a pretty location. The large terrace is ideal for all fresco dining and spacious dining room offers a cool place during peak sunshine in the middle of the day. The swimming pool is ideal for small children,..
All in all it made our "Italy" vacation a very happy experience.

Amazing Doesn't Even Begin To Describe It!
You start researching a vacation home in Tuscany to get away with friends and family after years of lockdown and travel disappointments. You see pictures, reviews, maps, calendars, narrowing down your options. You message a few hosts and pick a place, hoping it's as magical as it looks.
THIS EXPERIENCE IS EVEN BETTER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!! Not only is the house beautiful and stocked with anything you could need for a vacation in Tuscany, but the hosts Beatrice and Jacopo truly make the experience. From stocking the house with groceries before we arrived, to arranging transport to/from airport, to helping us select the most perfect winery tours / day trips / cooking classes, to cooking the most delicious dinners for us each night at a very affordable price....... We felt every need was catered to!!
I truly can't thank Beatrice and Jacopo enough for their hospitality and for helping us to create so many memories. The most perfect experience! We cannot wait to come back!

50th Birthday Celebration in Tuscany
Villa is beautiful, with perfect layout of rooms all on one floor, amazing sunset views from the pool and tower, and best of all are the hosts. They are amazing chefs and very responsive to all our requests. We enjoyed welcome dinner, cooking class, and BBQ.. all superb! They helped with transfers and excellent rental car assistance from ABC rental. Only way to go! Close to so many villages and wineries. Enjoy!

We traveled with a group of 10 (5 couples). This is the perfect place for a large group. There are 8 bedrooms (one with twin beds for children), all of them of reasonable size with good bathrooms. There is a large kitchen and dining room, and a living room area with a pool table (new pool sticks are needed). There is also a nice pool outside, although being there in mid April it was a bit cold for swimming. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by beautiful country side and vineyards. We used the villa as a base to explore nearby towns such as Pienza, San Gimignano, Volterra, and Montalcino, as well as taking the train into Florence.
But the best part of staying at the villa is the service provided by the hosts Beatrice and Jacopo. They will act as your concierge for your stay at the villa. The cooked two meals for us - both of them excellent. We also did a cooking class led by Jacopo where we all prepared the dinner. It was fun and the food was excellent. Beatrice prepared breakfast every morning, and they also made reservations for a wine tour, and went food shopping for us so we would have food to accompany all the wine we drank. They have lots of wine stocked in the villa, at reasonable prices.
I have to say that the stay at the villa exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on all of the previous great reviews. This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to Florence and other Tuscan cities, but not in the city center.

Fabulous property; fabulous hosts; fabulous trip.
Torre in Chianti is a great place for a family trip. I highly recommend it. We were a group of 14 from the U.S. --aunts, uncles, and cousins ages 20 to 68 -- arriving from NYC, New Jersey, Buffalo and California to join our college-aged son while he spent a semester abroad. The (very clean) 8 beds and 8 baths, large family room, and outdoor areas combined to provide both 'private space' for everyone while also having time together on this family vacation. Beatrice and Jacobo were great hosts from the moment we booked and continuing to final checkout -- helping with meal planning, restaurant selection, van rental for the week (good value), excursions, drivers to Cinque Terra, taxis (from a 5 am departure to late trips into Florence for the college kids and young adults to go to the clubs), and all sorts of other things. They were very flexible, as well, to deal with our group's sometimes changing plans. Everyone agreed that Beatrice's scrambled scrambled eggs were the 'best ever'! The final night's steak dinner was fabulous, as were the quality and prices on the in-house wine (we probably went thru 50 bottles at something like $8 each. If you're looking for a large, fairly priced house, nearby (easy 20 to 25 minute drive) to Florence, as a 'base' for your Tuscany trip, Torre in Chianti is a great choice. We'll be jealous! Rick from Jersey.

Coming from several different parts of the world, we chose this great property for our family reunion. We very much enjoyed this great, clean and well maintained villa. Beatrice and Jacobo prepared our fist dinner and did a great job. We very much enjoyed our time at this great place and will very much recommend it for larger parties.

We brought our 3 adult kids with two significant others. The house was lovely, exceptionally clean with many nooks to curl up. The hosts were incredible, finding us tours for day trips, renting a van, making breakfast and a welcome dinner. The cooking lesson was incredible - with home-made fetticine, pesto made from the basel in their garden, bruchietta with tomatos from the garden, tira misu that was truly incredible. The pool was beautiful, although quite cool, and we often lounged there. The central tower had gorgeous 360 views and cool breezes. Some of us sat up there to read and drink coffee, while some of the energetic ones did yoga there. It is easy to walk to small rustic villages, or take car trips of about 30-60 min to Sienna, Lucca and other charming places. It was the perfect vacation.
