The gym had broken equipment. The room’s maintenance was not great, but the staff was friendly.

Restaurant staffs were really kind and friendly. The front desk staffs were average. The hotel location is good for my needs, walkable to downtown.

Besides the location, this place was horrible. The receptionists had an attitude when I checked in early in the morning since I went on an Aurora tour the previous night. Rude and condescending that I had to tell them the 2nd night. The room was horrible, nothing like displayed in the pictures online. I found out that the southern part of the hotel was the old part. Well, they should have added real pictures, not deceitful ones. I hated being in that room so I was out most of the day and just came there to crash. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone ! Bad experience to say the least.

We usually stay in this hotel everything is usually good, this time we came in middle of the night drunk people yelling in halls, slamming doors, and worst is I will the fire alarm went of at 8:30 am in the morning everyone had to leave the building and stay outside. Thank you

I was so happy to book a room here because of all the great press it has and was so disappointed with the quality of the room. First room I had was smokey - and this is a non smoking hotel! Replacement room they gave me was smaller and the light fixtures over the desk area were broken so hard to do any work. And the tv kept freezing so couldn't watch anything. Bed was comfortable, shower head had no real pressure. Rooms need a definite refresh - the chairs were thread-bare.

Staff is very unfriendly and not helpful. Restaurants and gift shop were both closed so had to find food and meals elsewhere. Tried the breakfast the first day to never comeback. Otherwise comfortable room.

The TV had terrible streaming lag...played 20secs then paused. The lag madenit impossible to watch anything.

Good 2 places to eat, 1 shop open in March, work out center. A very large area good breakfast and fish and chips. Good choice glad I choose them.

stay was good parking was very limited was very upset it was some kind of party in a confidence room and they took up all the parking didn't leave any parking for people who stay in the hotel hotel parked on the far corner behind the old building would be nice if they would prioritize people staying in hotel instead of confidence people parked there for two hours max

Not happy that the cleaning staff put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and didn't clean the room. In addition, my diamond mini hoop earrings were stolen!

We stayed two nights in queen suite . We liked our stay, the room was very clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and polite. The restaurant food was great, tasty, the bartenders were nice to talk to, very very friendly. The overall stay was very pleasant and relaxing. I’m giving 5 stars. Very, very nice hotel to stay

I fell on the ice when I was going in to check in. It was ice when I came around my car and I fell hard on my hip and right arm. I was able to walk in and check in. I told the front desk then and then the next day. When I left, I mentioned it again. Nothing was done about the same spot I slipped on. She said they usually do something with it, but it was obvious that nothing was done.

I'll give 5 Stars but me and my partner had some issues the first day with the room. 1 the water pressure was low in our shower. 2 some pieces of the heater have to be replaced but the staff helped us the next morning when we told them an amazing job on then! everything went well Ty!!

Everyone was always kind and courteous and it was nice that breakfast was included every morning for free with your trip. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a microwave to use but other than that everything was great.

Fairly close to airport and a few blocks from restaurants, staff is very nice. Decent, free WIFI signal. Breakfast gets crowded, food is fairly basic, and sometimes have to wait to get a table.
There were some very noisy guests though, and I couldn't even drown out the sound with my TV as it would only give a scrambled photo, no sound.

I did reservations through Expedia for King suites they gave me totally different room.Pillows horrible can’t sleep on them too bulky.

Couple of things that I found, garbage boxes between the refrigerator and tv stand,
Television reception was nonexistent, on every channel, shower tub would not drain, throw pillow had multiple stains. Other than that it was quiet, comfortable, warm, and had a good morning breakfast selection!

Just finished a 3 night stay,TV out of service the entire time,ownership too cheap to even provide basic cable TV.Rooms are a smelly dump,breakfast is re-heated potatos and scrambled eggs (but plenty of Tobasco sauce).I got the empression this once great Hotel is being purposely turned into a Dump

Probably the worst night I’ve had in a hotel in my 31 years of living.
Drunk lady running down the halls outside of my room, crying and screaming at the top of her lungs for an hour.
Fire alarm gets pulled not once, but twice during the night. 1:30am and 2am.
Room next door was blaring music from 9pm-8am and flushing the toilet every 10 minutes throughout the night.
Ethan, the front desk employee I spoke to at 3am, said “I saw your message, but I was dealing with an actual emergency” referring to the drunk lady pulling the fire alarm in an extremely rude and snarky manner.
Super disappointed with my stay.

Staff at front desk welcoming consisted of “can I see your picture ID?’ No customer service! Very cold and rude! Housekeeping apparently came everyday and picked up towels from the shower, but no other cleaning was done throughout the week - then why come in - in the first place! Red Lantern staff, food and drinks were excellent!

This hotel is in a great location and it was perfect for our vacation. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The amenities were perfect and made our stay more comfortable. The TV could use some upgrading. In general, we were pleased with the hotel and our stay there.

I had to have easy access to the hospital while I was there and it was very close so that was very helpful. The breakfast they served helped me out also. I loved this place.

First after I check in with my ID they ask my wife for her ID to get her on the room, I call for no hot water on the bathtub and they didn’t send anybody until I have to go to the front desk.

Place is okay, but far from being a great experience. I stayed there for three days. My toilet was not working, I called front desk and they sent someone immediately who stayed there for 15min “fixing” it, however next two days I had the same issue. The card/keys are terrible, you need to go downstairs everyday to validate it again otherwise you can’t enter your room. Lastly, staffing is okay. Some of them are nice and welcoming, some are just there for the paycheck. No minimum efforts to make you have a truly unique experience. Nothing that would make me come back though. 3 stars.

Not a bad place. Room was nice. Cable freezes. Got locked out of my room for no reason at all. Wasn’t cleaned properly. Found trash and dirt in places not cleaned often. Broken coaxial cable plate on the wall tells me maintenance doesn’t check rooms often.

This hotel is well run its clear why the cruise ships partner here because they help make lasting memories. Every Employee has been extremely friendly, and helpful, even sharing their favorite parts of Fairbanks to explore. The buildings are starting to show some wear, but still a very comfortable stay. Overall great stay in Fairbanks.

Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Soap in the bathtub and soda rings on the nightstand. It was comfortable and quiet though. Food was good in the Red Lantern.
