This is a very nice place to stay. It is so charming, and the staff are fantastic. Where here first time in 2016. To be back was like to come home. Can highly recommend this place in Cape Town. 15 minutes to walk to Waterfront. Short walk to a lot of restaurants.

I absolutely loved the spread of different items at breakfast each morning, together with great coffee, juice and different infused waters. Music that was playing was great, great vibe and lovely staff. The staff were fantastic and wonderful and were super friendly! The art in the hotel is very good as well and I appreciated the art so much.

No parking space, you unfortunately have to park on the street if you are checking in with your own car, we opted to uber and walk so it did not bother us as much.

The lack of power two hours a day was a drawback, but a general problem for Cape Town. Pls. buy your own generator The lack of propper WiFi at times in the rooms was a challenge - though it worked in the lounge

The place was amazing and the staff were so helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to make our stay special, once they knew it was my honeymoon. The breakfast was lovely and we got to park our car in their garage. We had two showers and a bath and a lovely balcony. Would recommend this place to everyone I know and will definitely return.

Would have been useful to have been told the load shedding timetable ahead of time

nothing, we weren’t able to make it for our booking because my husband and I got sick. we immediately consulted with our doctor who gave us a diagnosis. I notified the hotel immediately thereafter, on the same day we got our diagnosis and provided both our sick notes. got not response from them though I kept following up. on the day of our check in, I still made a follow up and later on got a response from Lo Weber who insisted they can’t accommodate our situation as it was short notice. but how is that the case when we notified them the very same day we got sick and immediately after we got our diagnosis. what were diagnosed with is deemed infectious and can be passed on to others easily. we followed our doctor’s orders and chose to ensure everyone is safe hence the best was to alert the hotel. I was told they can’t refund us and I asked that we reschedule. I called the hotel and spoke to Denis who was happy to reschedule. today I woke up to a message from Vera saying they can’t reschedule our booking. how? so unfair to pay such a large amount money and not be able to come through because of being ill, something neither my hubby and I planned. and to be told we need to forfeit that. never in my life of traveling and seeking services have I ever come across such practice. but trust me I won’t give up without a fight. such kind of businesses shouldn’t even exist if all they do is rob people money daylight, don’t listen to any point reason, ignore legit medical reports and just disregard people’s medical conditions just like that. so would it have been better if we had put everyone in danger from our Uber driver who would needed to drive us to the hotel because we weren’t fit to do anything, down to their staff and guests who would have been in contact with us? would that have been better? i doubt so.

so far nothing is impressive about their service, no consistency in their communication. just plain cold, unprofessional, unwelcoming, unacceptable and below standard service. Vera want us to forfeit money which we paid in advance when making the booking, even though we notified them in advance that we have since fallen sick and won’t make it for our booking. what business etiquette is that as I have never had of it. we are willing to reschedule and not opt for a refund and still that cannot be considered.

The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The bedroom we had was beautifully decorated and a good size! The location was good too.. It was about a fifteen minute walk to the waterfront.

Air conditioning didn't really work. Breakfast was ok but not five star.

Staff were so friendly, you felt like you’d known them for years. You really got a feel for them as locals. You could choose if you wanted bed linen changed, but they cleaned the room daily. Nice, fairly secluded location and a good selection provided for breakfast. My room had a little outdoor area, because it didn’t have a sea view.

Only breakfast provided, though Uber eats did work there.
