Excellent location in the heart of Franschhoek but away from the main road. Beautiful, high ceilinged room, with quality furnishings. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Complete perfection. The Belmont exceeded every expectation, the location, the facilities and the staff were absolutely 10/10. It Felt like a boutique 5* Hotel. Cant wait to visit again.

Nothing to dislike

The Belmont is an absolute gem of a place, it's in a great location, easy stroll to bars, restaurants etc. The decor is simply stunning, it's 5 star boutique hotel all the way. The staff are a complete delight, we arrived early and they were really accommodating, welcoming and kind. There a huge communal kitchen, lounge, dining area which had complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits and this is a real bonus. It was one of the loveliest places we stayed whilst in South Africa and I cannot recommend it highly enough - was dead chuffed with myself for booking it - do the same - you won't be disappointed - it's fantastic value for money too!

Absolutely nothing

Nice decor, great to be able to use the kitchen areas and outside bbq. Good staff who were very helpful

Room 5 was very dark as not private so blinds needed to be closed. Many people tried our door as they thought it would give them access to the kitchen !! Annoying . There was a residual damp smell due to some clean up from the floods but hopefully will pass in future. Pool area is not inviting enough to sit around and quite small.

Really helpful and accommodating staff. A minute from the main street and restaurants. Beautifully decorated suite with internal courtyard entry.

Stunning hotel and gorgeous room in the best location you can wish for. The bathroom was the best indulgent after a long day of wine tasting with the incredible bath, following the most comfortable bed for a great sleep.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable property. Fantastic service and overall I’m really glad I picked this for my stay in franschhoek.

Simple thing. Shampoo available in shower (fixed on the wall). Not available in bath, although the bath was fitted with a hand shower suitable for rinsing hair.

Perfect location for a week-end in Franshoek. Drop of your car and walk anywhere you like. The entire house is decorated with love and taste.

The key to open the door was a bit tuff and the struggled to open the door. But thats about it

Location was great for the wine tram and it was really quiet accommodation, which really suited us.

We stayed in room 4. The room was immaculate! Comfy bed and lovely bathroom!

The door that opens onto the veranda was somewhat loose fitting into the frame and would bang back and forward against the frame in the wind which kept us awake until we moved a heavy object in front of the door to stop it from moving. The other slight annoyance was the small window about the same door, which doesn’t have a curtain. This let a lot of light into the room from the outside spotlight which was left on all night.

Excellent location, beautifully presented rooms and everyone was very friendly and helpful. A new hidden gem in Franschhoek!

We had to leave early as we had a breakfast booking elsewhere - would love to have stayed longer (and a couple more nights)

A very convenient location but no breakfast

Our UK friends stayed at the very nice Corner House B & B nearby and paid R1700-00 per room per night including a very good breakfast.

the wind was strong in the night and a gate or door was banging repeatedly - I thought it might have been the gate/door leading to the pool as I noticed in the afternoon that didn’t close properly.

We loved our stay! Super central and SO beautiful, we'll definitely be back!
