The rooms were spacious and comfortable, we had a great view of Central Park. The staff was helpful and Rodney the bellman was spectacular. The doormen and staff were exceptional, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Old and poor maintenance. Paint peeling of the walls and shower drain blocked. Very slow response from management ( it took 48 hrs to solve the drain issue). Empty shampoo flacons etc. Only water on the first day, other days you have to purchase. Better to book individual nights instead of 3 nights in a row.

シャワールームの仕切りのガラスに楕円の穴があり、そこからシャワーの水がはねてトイレにかかる。 部屋にお湯をわかすポットやお茶のサービスがあるといい。スリッパもおいてほしい。

the hotel changed completely and in our opinion for worse. no more drawer on the room, no drawers on the bedside table, no hangers in the bathroom, sink base very small. We used to stay in this hotel for the last 12 years, at least 3 times per year. after the renovation, I believe we will find other hotel

Location was great and the hotel was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. On the first day we arrived we were told that we could expect rain on the second day and that the hotel provided guests with umbrellas- that was a really nice gesture!

A little on the expensive side and insufficient plugs in rooms (most hotels have this issue) Also no tea and coffee facilities in the room

Staff was courteous; location is lovely; concierge was helpful; hotel is quite pretty; nice outdoor space in the courtyard; proximity to tourist attractions and conference centers

Room cleaning was so-so and for 3 days in a row we did not have a bath mat (we had one the first day and then housekeeping took it away and never replaced it and we had to use a towel on the floor and yet, still seeing that, they did not think of leaving a bathmat); you need a proper business centre or cannot be a valid hotel for business travel; when early check-in is not possible, there needs to be a quiet place to be able to work (2 computers at a counter at concierge desk do not make a business centre) you need to be willing to allow late check-out 3-4pm when you can without charging a fee, otherwise business travel parties will steer to other hotels; housekeeping knocked on the door and a split second later opened it before we had a chance to respond (not great privacy wise);

Dried body fluids evident on loveseat. Decor looked like a bordello. No desk area. Front desk staff very rude. Restaurant cuisine very limited. Not a 5 star experience at all.

The location is great

I am honestly very disappointed regarding the cleanliness of the bed. I started to see bed bug bites on my body the second or third day of my stay and I am still suffering from those bites. My whole body is covered in them and I am scratching me body non stop. This was a huge disappointment considering the level of the hotel I was expecting to stay at

The service here is A+. The best place we have stayed in NY so far. If you can, book the option that i includes breakfast at the Darling Rooftop, is very good and the view is amazing. The room was comfortable and the bed too.

We upgraded to a room with a park view which was lovely. The location is great - close to the park, close to theater district, easy access to UWS and UES and not terribly far from lower manhattan. Housekeeping, both dining establishments and front desk staff were really great and especially helpful/kind. Also, the food at Rose Lane was phenomenal.

Pricing for having breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was not well communicated at any point ahead of or during our stay (and it's very expensive). A few small upkeep things needed love (several outlets weren't working in our room and the shower drain was very slow and likely needed to be cleaned out).
