the room type wasn’t as it appeared on booking.com. The hotel staff were not great. I had packages that arrived and it took 2 days for them to deliver, even after I kept checking. My husband sent flowers for my birthday and they didn’t deliver until the next day. So disappointing. Also, my room had a rattle that kept me awake all night. The hotel did they would send someone up to look at it, and they never did.

Lobby is nice. Room was ok. Pillows were terrible. Bed was ok. I expected more since the merger with Shutters.

the service was excellent from the moment we left the taxi. Our room was ready for an early check in - much appreciated after the Grammys arty the night before! We love this hotel-its sophisticated yet not obsequious- the food is wonderful, the location is spot on and the staff are delightful.

We loved our stay ar Casa del Mare. Before we arrived we noticed the hotel that we would arrive early. When we arrived we got an early check in and a room upgrade. Both the front desk and the Valet parking staff were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms and the hotel was absolutly beautiful with a perfect location at Santa Monica Beach. House keeping and room service were excellent. Restaurants and bar were good. Especially restaurant Catch. Pool area was really nice. Casa del Mare cooperates with the neigbour hotel Shutter. This was really nice and we had a lovely breakfast and lunch at Shutter. We highly recommend Casa del Mare and will def come here again.

We had one dinner and one breakfast at restaurant Terrazza. We felt a bit overlooked and it took some time to get service. Seemed like they were a but underataffed. Food and atmosphere was really good tho.

great location, amazing views, great bar and food, but the staff take the prize, what an amazing team. Angel is such a friendly and accommodating person, thanks a lot.

The view of the pier was great. The location is right on the beach and is near everything you may need. Staff was helpful with recommendations and was accommodating to requests. Security in the area made us feel very safe even later at night. There was live music in the evenings and overall a great vibe to the place. Terazza lounge has a great menu and was perfect for breakfast, lunch, and cocktails.

The onsite restaurant Catch was disappointing in the quality and non seafood selections. The seafood was overall good. The chicken offering was almost unidentifiable and had poor taste. There was not really any shopping for basic needs such as chapstick, deodorant or anything you may have forgotten on premise. Had to use a delivery service for anything needed.

very close to the beach restaurant inside. food was great. the use of the house car. free hour bike rental the list goes on. i felt like royalty while staying.

i don’t see how you could dislike anything about the property
