It's hard to accurately capture the experience of staying at the Villa Thai Orchid—you have to be there to feel the love and dedication from the staff. It is an intimate place where the staff are so welcoming and lovely and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They really spare no effort, but make it seem so natural and easy. You really feel the beauty of Thai friendliness and the excellence of Thai service here. The breakfast options are ample and really delicious (I haven't had a better French toast even in the USA, and I must learn the recipe for that Thai omelet). They gave excellent recommendations for nearby food. The place itself is impeccably clean and peaceful. The bed was comfortable, the shower excellent, and the balcony had a great view of the street below. The location is super convenient to explore the city and is nearby a host of popular restaurants, shops, and markets.

Sehr sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, die Lage ist perfekt und es kann alles zu Fuss erkundet werden. Es gibt jeden Tag gratis Früchte, Wasser und Snacks, man bekommt sogar gratis Toast und Kaffee. Auch die Wäsche waschen sie einem gratis. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

직원들은 친절했고, 객실은 깨끗했으며, 침대 및 침구는 편안했고, 올드타운 내 위치도 좋았어요. 조식도 맛있고, 1층 공용 공간에 항상 비치되어 있는 쥬스와 요거트, 바나나와 생수도 오며가며 잘 먹었어요. 그리고 무료 세탁 서비스가 있어서 온종일 땀 흘린 옷을 다음 날 깨끗하게 세탁해서 객실 앞까지 가져다 줘서 너무 좋았어요. 치앙마이 총 7박 중에 5박 밖에 못해서 아쉬웠어요. 2박은 이미 예약이 마감 되어서 어쩔 수 없이 다른 호텔로 옮겼어요. 그러니 망설이지 말고 얼른 예약하세요. 다음 치앙마이 여행 때도 무조건 Villa Thai Orchid 예약할 거에요.

Excellent séjour passé au Villa Thaï Orchid. La chambre est grande et propre. La literie est très confortable, j'ai dormi comme un bébé. Et la salle de bain est parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est en supplément mais il y a des collations délicieuses et des boissons à disposition toute la journée, ce qui suffit amplement. Ce que je retiens, c'est surtout la gentillesse du staff, qui a été aux petits soins avec moi. Je les remercie infiniment d'avoir rendu mon séjour à Chiang Mai aussi magique. Je reviendrai !

I doubt that I will be able to reproduce in words how beautiful the accommodation was and how well we felt here: 1.- From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extreme warmth by the owners and the receptionist. 2.- The location is exceptional, right in the old center. To the right, at 600 meters the Saturday Night Market, and to the left at about 200 meters the Sunday Night Market. 3.-The cleanliness is exceptional both in the common areas and in the room, 4.-Water, juices, yogurt, biscuits available for free at the reception all day long 5.- The room is immaculate, very clean. New sheets and towels, safe, air conditioning, bacon, etc. 6.- Very good, hearty breakfast that you have to choose the night before from a number of 4-5 options; 7.-free laundry for clothes from one day to another. 8.- And last but not least, an unbeatable price. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Thai Orchid. Thank you and we hope to come back as soon as possible!

Hosts are warm, kind and gentle and speak english fluently. You have free botteled water, juices, tea and snacks all day long. The hotel provides free laundry. The hotel's position Is perfect to tour the old city by walk, and reach almost everything you Need (bars, restaurants, massages, 7/11...). The room is big, and has a lot of light. The bed Is comfortable. We had a perfect stay, so Highly reccomended

Few small things: - Mind that There's no elevator (we knew that, not a problem for US), they help you bring your belongings to the room though - the w/c position of our room was a bit tight and not very comfortable (shower was super ok instead) - a/c good but It has been hard to not make it point towards the bed

Stop looking for accommodation in Old Chiang Mai and stay here. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, so clean , walking distance to the main markets , restaurants and shops . There is free laundry service and free breakfast, also free refreshments all day long . The bed is heavenly and aircon is fantastic. A balcony is an added bonus for those who smoke so you don’t have to keep on going up and down lift or stairs like so many hotels. The owners Kong & A are the most kind , helpful and friendly hotel owners we have ever met, they were always happy to help out with any questions we had and speak very good English so communication was not a problem. We have stayed in 5 star hotels including The Shangri La in Bangkok and we would have to say that Vila Thai Orchid impressed us more than any of these 5 star hotels. Every time we came back from a day out we felt like we had arrived back home which we have never felt at any other hotel. Vila Thai Orchid is not 10/10 it’s 100/10 , we come to Thailand & Chiang Mai every year and will be booking Vila Thai every time from now on. Thank you Kong & A for creating such a wonderful hotel

Everything! From the moment we got there, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. Free coffee, tea and snacks. They did our laundry for us and had it ready for us after dinner. Wonderful place with lovely, smiley staff!

Excellent location in Chiang Mai. Stayed in Villa 1. It was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Air conditioning was excellent. Breakfast was from a choice of 7-8 options, cooked for you and brought to you by the hotel staff at the table. Owners of the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

There is nothing I can think of. You won't get a swimming pool but that's not what this hotel offers. This is truly one of the best places I have stayed at and is fantastic value for money. My wife was so happy she even tipped the hotel on departure. The genuine willingness and desire for the hotel staff to help you with your needs is what stood out. They even helped with securing a driver for the morning at a very reasonable price to drive us to various temples on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. If I return to Chiang Mai I will not bother looking anywhere else.

Everything! This was a fantastic place to stay! The staff are super friendly and very helpful from the moment you arrive to the minute you leave. The room was beautiful, clean and beds comfortable. You can have as much water, bananas and yogurt as you want, the laundry service is free. The location is fantastic. I highly recommend coming here!

This hotel is a true gem and it totally deserves the super high rating. From the moment we checked in we were well taken care off. Absolutely loved the free laundry service and the 24hr free snacks (milk, juice, yogurt, bread with jam or Nutella) etc. The room was decent sized was extremely comfortable. The whole hotel is extremely clean. location wise the hotel is near the Sunday Night market and there is a 7-eleven and massage places within walking distance. It is in an alley off the main road but it’s well lit and very safe.

I'm surprised that they have free laundry services, food and drinks, that's really convenient for travelers. and the location is good. The staff are polite and friendly.

We arrived around 10 a.m. and in less than half an hour we were keeping the key room in our hands. Shoes are not allowed inside, but you get nice slippers with traditional motifs on them. Water, tea, coffee, biscuits, Nutella, and yoghurts come free of charge in the lobby. Nice, discreet owners, not intrusive, ready to help anytime. They provide you with a Chiang Mai map (there are no more free maps of CM at tourist offices). Behind the lobby, there is a big scale necessary for luggage weighing before going to the airport. We spent a week there, we got a complimentary cab to the airport. Location-wise, the villa is centrally located, 7-11 nearby. Free of charge laundry.

The place is cozy, clean and comfortable. The room was very spaceous and with a big bed. The staff was so sweet and attentive. I loved the free snacks and drinks at the coffee corner. Great value for price!

Super convenient location in the old city. Short walk to many cafes and restaurants or via short taxi ride to the malls or eats further out, and short ride to the airport. The sunday market is extremely close by but the villa was nice and quiet. day tours will pick you up from the villa. exceeded expectations because daily laundry was complimentary (returned same day!) and likewise really pretty slippers we could take home with us and the beds were first class, extremely comfy and the whole villa super clean! bottled water a plenty and 24hrs free flow bananas, bread, coffee, juice, tea, milk, yogurt, water. Owners were super friendly with recommendations and value for money "what to do / eat" suggestions.

our room was on level 3 and there was no lift but stairs were ok for us to work out the food we had in chiang mai! there was no electricity for a short while in the whole district due to thunder and lightening - unusual - but was up after a few hours.

Great location close to Chedi Luang temple. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Beautiful rooms, no complaints at all!! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!

Everything! the hotel itself its really clean, spacious, comfy. the staff is excepcional! breakfast was delicious and location is amazing. close to everything, 10 min walking distance from the most important spots in Chang Mai. Our stay was amazing. highly recommend. 10/10. They also helped us to book a tour to the withe temple with a really convenient price, the cherry on the top is that they offer free laundry service! The staff is very very helpful! if you’re looking for a really good hotel , this is the ONE.

Everything was amazing! The property felt like it was brand new. The room was super cute and clean. There was AC, free coffee, water, tea, kettle, bananas, yogurt, toast, and laundry service! Microwave available for use. Stairs only, 3 floors high. Check-in and out was easy. Slippers only here, no shoes inside. This contributed to the cleanliness. Got to keep the slippers! Bathrooms were clean, no rust or old water spots. Honestly the best hotel I've had in SEA so far. The Sunday market is on the same street as hotel, very cool.
