Location, aesthetic, beds, Wifi, facilities were great. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Proximity to the ferry train station and with the bike rental inside the same building was excellent. Having the cafe and restaurant in the same building with an appealing menu was great too. Room was quiet.

There was a "make up my room" sign on the door but the room did not get made up at all while we were there for 3 nights. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor so we had to use the towels to mop it up which wasn't ideal with the room not getting made up. Room was very dark (only one opaque window in the bathroom) which was great for sleeping but there was a moldy / stale smell in the room which was difficult to air out with only one window.

This was my starting point for a bike ride across the Shimanami Kaido. As the name indicates, cycling is their trade and I rented my bike from the adjoining Giant store. The staff was friendly and helpful, the it made for an easy start first thing in the morning.

The rooms are quite dark, which I would not have preferred. But, very functional.

Perfect for cyclists.

Connected with restaurant and shop bakery, somehow the opening hours are short. Offer free coffee and drink. Views are good in the day time.

No window except a closed one in bathroom. Around the hotel there was nothing. At night its very dark to walk to the nearest convinent store.

Coolest spacious room with big bathrooms. The hotel is an experience in itself. Very convenient for the shimanami kaido cycling route experience. Rented Giant bicycles at store located at hotel. Ferry to first island is a few meters away. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!

What a great hotel for cyclists! This is my second time staying here, and hopefully the second of many more to come. I love the fact that they have a great selection of well maintained, high quality bikes to rent, and for those of us bringing our own gear, that there is enough space and support for packing and unpacking our bikes. The staff members are knowledgeable and have helped me to reinstall my front wheel, something I was very nervous about, as I am not used to doing it. They even packed me breakfast so that I can leave by the earliest ferry. I got a bunch of delicious stuff from Butti Bakery (their banana bread is amazing!). The only suggestion I would have for that is to please not spoil us so much, LOL! I AM trying to stay in shape. All kidding aside, this hotel revolves around cyclists and the staff are solid professionals who work really hard to make your stay comfortable and trouble-free. As a guest, you can have Yamato deliver your luggage to and from your home for a very reasonable fee, so that you can travel more comfortably with your bike. Can't wait for my next visit!

Nothing to complain about the service but, honestly, the hotel is overall overpriced.
