the casa is on a site that looks like a botanical garden.

Superb views. Fantastic garden filled with lovely plants and birds. Short distance to Santa Cruz village and pier, although there are a lot of steps so you need to be fit! Very easy to take a boat from pier to other towns.
Beds were uncomfortable. Scratchy towels.

The views from the property are incredible and the casa comfortable with plenty of great art and a well equipped kitchen. Excellent location for some recharging alternated with exploring. Wifi is decent and showers hot.
We personally did not mind but some will find the walk challenging. It takes over 500 steps from the bottom to get to the casa and it’s incredible views. The majority of these steps are upwards so not ideal for those with bad joints, mobility issues, etc.

The view is breathtaking and the house is designed to take full advantage of it. Gorgeous landscaped garden. Family feel to the house with lots of personal touches, interesting artifacts and well equipped kitchen.
There’s nothing at all to dislike - unless you can’t handle steps, as it is a steep walk up.
