The property is right in the heart of a cluster of cool clubs on Frenchman street. Cool patio in the back. We had a lot of rain but managed some time in the patio area. Short walk to the quarter. The house is well insulated and there was no problem with the noise despite being right next to the clubs. The house was well stocked. Plenty of coffee, the essential stuff for cooking, and plenty of TP. Easy to use alarm system. We were there for a wedding at Peter and Paul hotel. Really close. Great place to stay

We stayed at the Frenchman St Guesthouse with another family and our teen/young adult kids. The house is charming, spacious, and very comfortable. The back patio is great - unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite warm enough to use it. Daphne was a super responsive host and a pleasure to interact with.
Of course, the location for checking out music on Frenchman St was perfect. We could pop out for some music, pop home for a bit, and then head out again. I loved sitting on the front porch late at night to hear the street corner brass band play. (That said, if you’re looking for a quiet area of NOLA, this is not it.)
If you’re a music lover, this is the house for you!!

This place was wonderful. It was within walking distance to so many activities. The house had every amenity that you could want. I really loved the back patio area. It was roomy and had plenty of space. I will definitely book this place again.

This was *literally* the best stay ever I've had in New Orleans! We came for my grandma's 75th birthday and Daphne was so supportive. I told her that my grandma doesn't travel a lot so she ensured there were safe and easy ways for my grandma to check in...she even left flowers for her birthday in the rental for us! The house itself is BEAUTIFUL and spacious! We loved sitting on the front porch listening to music and people watching. I can't wait to come back to this house. Thank you Daphne for making my grandma's birthday so special!

10 of us came for the weekend and had plenty of space to both have our privacy and to enjoy time at home together. We loved using the living room, large kitchen, and back patio to get together for some food, drinks, and laughs. The place was so well stocked with kitchenware, blankets, and even poo-pourri! The best for last- our location was unbeatable. Right on the corner of Frenchman street, moments from bars, restaurants, convenient and grocery stores, and live music. I would definitely come back and stay here.

We had a wonderful Family Christmas at Daphne’s house in New Orleans. Daphne was a great host, she even decorated the house and put up a Christmas tree for us. The house was great for our large group. Everyone had room to spread out for sleeping and getting ready to go out, but the common areas were large enough for us to hang out together. The kitchen/dining area is fantastic. We had multiple cooks working together to make several family meals, it was wonderful!
The location was great for listening to music on Frenchmen Street and easy walking distance to the French Quarter. Daphne took great care of us so it was a memorable experience for our first Christmas away from home!

This property was just as described. Daphne was awesome. House was very well appointed in the prefect location. We didn't use our rental car most of the time we were there. If we were to return to NOLA we would defiantly come back here!

We stayed here over thanksgiving with our multi-generational family and had the best time. The location could not have been better and the house was well stocked in every way. It was the best trip. We were thrilled with the house and the entire experience. I would stay here again in a second.

Family Fun in NOLA!
Our family of 5 explored NOLA with a set of grandparents. The location is GREAT for music lovers and it's very easy to walk to most places in NOLA or catch a streetcar. The parking lot next to the house is super convenient. The house itself is very nice and Daphne has done a great job making sure it's well stocked for guests which is REALLY appreciated.

Beautiful home in a perfect location
Our group has stayed at 8 different properties on our annual trip to the French Quarter and this is our favorite. The location is right next to Frenchmen and away from the Bourbon Street nonsense and noise. There is a brass band that plays right at the corner every night and this can be enjoyed from the front porch or the private courtyard. The home has plenty of room, a beautiful kitchen, and the walls are thick enough to not hear anyone in your party in the next room over. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works great, and we had a ceiling fan in our room that made sleeping even better.
The neighborhood is safe, there are plenty of places to eat and get drinks right around the corner, and even a small convenience store just a short walk away. If you do want to enjoy Bourbon, that is a short walk as well.
If you drive to the home, there is a parking lot next to the house with reasonable rates...just remember to book the parking in advance for better rates. If your feet are tired of walking, there are numerous Pedi-cab companies that will pick you up at the house.
Beautiful home, perfect location, and Daphne was exceptional in reaching out and making sure our stay was excellent. Easily one of the best VRBO rentals I've ever had and we will definitely make this our annual booking for our trip down to New Orleans.

Amazing location. Frenchmen street was our favorite place to hangout for music and the bar scene.
We came with family for our fathers birthday. We were lucky to all be together for mardis gras. Daphnes hospitality was first class. She had snacks for us and promptly checked us in early. The house was perfect for the six of us. We particularly loved the back yard area. We all highly recommend this for anyone looking to experience NOLA

We reserved the Guesthouse a year ago, hoping to gather family from across the country for some family history (we have ancestors who arrived through New Orleans) and some fun we all so deserve after 2020 etc…Once we arrived I was relieved: the location is terrific and the details of the rental were perfect. My mother-in-law had a room w private bath. Husband and I did too. My brother and sister-in-law had a room; my grown son had a room. And we had plenty of entertaining space so that cousins staying elsewhere could gather at the Guesthouse for shared meals and good fun. The beds were deliciously comfy and the details well thought through. We just had to wander out the door for terrific, world class jazz music. There’s a grocery store up the street but great food available at restaurants in the neighborhood. We made wonderful memories staying at the Guesthouse!

Daughter's Birthday Trip
There were 6 of us in the house and we loved it. Every room is spacious and decorated beautifully. Free parking is located directly across the street from the house and we had no problems with our vehicles being there.

Christmas in NOLA
It was a perfect house for our family to spend Christmas. We had nine people and had plenty of room. We loved the location- we walked everywhere in the French Quarter. Parking is available in a parking lot for $20 a day.

My family had a wonderful time strolling through the french quarter and staying steps from live music on Frenchman's. This beautiful home has every amenity including a private patio for entertaining. The hostess was charming and extremely accommodating. Have visited NOLA for years and this experience was by far my best yet. We will be visiting again!

I rented this house for my daughters bachelorette weekend. Daphne met us when we arrived to greet us. I never thought I could be in such a great location like this. This house had everything we needed. Between the perfect location and perfect house I can’t see staying at any other place when I visit New Orleans! It was just amazing!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Frenchman Street Guesthouse for my daughter's 21st birthday and had the most wonderful time. The home itself is fabulous and super charming. Daphne has thought of everything that you could possibly need at a home away from home. The Frenchman Street vibe was so much fun we found it just as entertaining as Bourbon Street with the bonus of being steps from the residence. The overall location could not be better being just minutes away by foot from the French Market and everything the French Quarter has to offer. This was our very first visit to New Orleans and it could not have gone any better. We loved the home, city, people, food, music and entertainment. You want to visit New Orleans? This is the way to do it!! We couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back!! Thanks Daphne

We had a great time here! It's close to all the fun on Frenchmen St, and walkable to French Quarter and downtown. Host was very responsive and answered all of our questions.
