This two bedroom apartment housed in an 18th century building, is conveniently located in the heart of Rome’s historical center and has recently been restructured by a renowned Italian architect. The apartment is composed as follows:

The apartment has been furnished in a contemporary style and while it reflects the latest interior design trends it has maintained its original architectonic characteristics. Several amenities are provided to ensure the pleasure and comfort of its guests.

The entreè, lit by a Swarosky chandelier , has an antique wooden cabinet converted into a bar supplying cocktail utensils. The adjacent living room, having original stucco ceilings, has an L shaped sofabed, and a dining area which potentially sits six. A 42” Full HD Samsung Led TV showing International channels and a Nintendo Wii, useful for DVD viewing, Wii games are also available . A number of DVDs showing movies in the original language, are supplied. A Wi-Fi internet connection is provided for free use throughout the apartment. The living room, as well as one of the Master bedrooms directly, overlooks Via Francesco Crispi. However, despite it being in the midst of a busy and well frequented area, the apartment is acustically protected by double windows.

The kitchen is supplied with brand new cooking appliances allowing for the preparation of complete meals and/or heating facilities. Apart from a gas cooking hob, an electric oven is supplied, a refrigerator having a small ice box, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso, toaster, electric kettle and an electric blender are also supplied. The large French windows leading to the small terrace keep the kitchen very bright at all times of the day.

The bathroom, has an electric window for airing, a spacious shower with a Led shower head, a washing machine and a WC/Bidet facility. All towels and bath robes are 100% cotton. Shower Gel and other toiletries are complimentary.
The “Roman Safari “ master bedroom has a 32”led TV, A/C which is enough to cool the whole apartment, a spacious cupboard as well as an internet work station/dressing table. The room is at the back of the apartment and leads directly into the small terrace. The “Romantic Grey” bedroom is elegantly furnished and has an original 18th century stone fireplace. This room may be used with a Queen size bed or two single beds, as per your needs. Bed-linen is 100% high quality Egyptian cotton. Both bedrooms are supplied with Tea/Coffee facilities.

The terrace, a rarity in buildings of that period, is perfect for summertime breakfast, lunch and evening cocktails. The table can sit up to six persons and is easily served by the adjacent kitchen. An original fountain-like sink is an added feature of the terrace, providing plant- watering and washing facilities. Seasonal, aromatic mediterranean herbs are available to provide a special touch to your cuisine.

A complimentary bottle of prosecco, typical of the Italian tradition, will be available to celebrate your arrival, together with other soft drinks and snacks.

The Area

The Spanish Steps Luxury Apartment, is ideally positioned in the heart of Rome and is located between Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps) and Fontana di Trevi (the Trevi Fountain) both at a 5 minute walk. The closest underground station is Piazza Barberini, A Line, about 300 mt from the apartment. Otherwise, Spagna station is about 400mt from the apartment. Very conveniently, there is a parking facility called Ludovisi, ideal for those renting a car. It is at a 2 minute walk fom the apartment. The American Embassy is about 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Via Francesco Crispi is a vibrant street filled with coffe shops, restaurants and fashion shops. The Gallery of Modern Art of Rome, ex XVI century Monastry, is on the same street. Moreover, one of the Gagosian Galleries (New York, Beverly Hills, London, Paris) displays temporary exhibitions of Contemporary art.
Via Veneto, famous for the Dolce Vita of Fellini, is at about 500 meters from the apartment and offers many luxury boutiques, hotels and restaurants.
Piazza del Popolo is only 1 km away and one of the main entrances to Villa Borghese Park is just 300 m away.
The Colosseum may be reached by foot, about 20 minutes, by bus or underground in less than 10 minutes.
The best shopping streets in Rome , Via dei Condotti ,Via Frattina and Piazza di Spagna are at a 5 to 10 minutes walk from the apartment. High end brands such as Gucci , Prada, Valentino and Louis Vuitton are to be found in these limited traffic streets, welcoming pedestrians to stop for coffee at the Antico Cafe Greco and other Italian Gourmet restaurants. Moreover, the Dolce Vita atmosphere is found in the nearby Via Veneto, Via dei Coronari and Fontana di Trevi area.
