Excellently situated cottage for exploring Ludlow and the surrounding areas. Lee is an exceptional host and we appreciated the excellent communication throughout. Ludlow is not easy for parking but after checking in and depositing luggage there is an arrangement with a nearby garage that worked perfectly for us. Breakfast was outstanding and delivered exactly when ordered; as good as those served in their restaurants by better hotels. Excellent supply of biscuits, fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee, cereals, yogurt, bread and butter. Interesting decor and bedroom (watch your head on the beam, though!). Novel but fun to have a freestanding bath in the bedroom.

There is no mains water downstairs(though a daily flask is provided) which makes washing of cups and glasses a bit of a problem, and the small sink/loo upstairs will challenge some!

Lovely location for the town. Really cosy cottage. The breakfast was great and arrived on time.

The Griffin Cottage was a charming beamed cottage in the beautiful Market Town of Ludlow with a magnificent Church at it's centre with wonderful concerts. Comfy bed, delicious breakfasts, charming hosts and very good value for a wonderful weekend/holiday experience. Excellent Restaurants and cafes and lots of history to explore. It was brilliant in every way. Thank you. We would like to return for longer and explore such a fascinating area of England/Wales. 5 Stars and counting.

Everything was brilliant. Nothing we did not like. We would have liked more time to look around such a historic part of the world Really Loved Ludlow. What a gem of a place. So beautiful and has so much charm and really friendly people. We would highly recommend The Griffin Cottage.

Fantastic cooked breakfast and great location. The bed was amazing and the bath is fantastic! Very comfortable stay with lovely touches in the accommodation (tea, coffee, breakfast items etc). The host was very friendly and welcoming.

The toilet / washroom is a little narrow but I wouldn't knock points off for this - the rest of the accommodation was fantastic.

The breakfast was lovely the cottage gorgeous really cozy.

Stairs were a problem for me due to age I think.

We were expecting a little room and got an entire cottage!clean and comfortable and spacious and so well located in this gorgeous town. Excellent value for money too. Breakfast was delicious and delivered by the host with warmth and a smile. Tea and coffee, fresh milk provided and some yoghurts in the little fridge. Really comfy sofa. Great wifi, microwave, toaster. The decor wasn't to my taste but basically the place is lovely and I would definitely recommend Griffin Cottage and will book again.

unicorn pub which we booked was actually closed down and we were not informed. cleanliness poor no smoke detector fridge not turned on despite having dairy in.

Location was great, comfortable bed, lovely bath. Owners helpful, kind and friendly. Sky tv so partner was happy 😃

Good breakfast with a wide choice. Delightful accommodation (Griffon), quiet and comfortable.

The breakfast coffee could be a bit stronger! and I was sorry not to have a proper shower, rather than one in the bath, though I understand the problem in that accommodation.

no shower to husbands dismay but the claw foot bath was amazing. I hesitate to say it was too hot, radiators didn’t need to be on so high

Breakfast came quick upon ordering. food was fresh and tasty

breakfast room was set downstairs with no windows and quite dark. food was average and the crockery was not clean. you have to walk across the road from your room outside though a access gate which is difficult to unlock.

The room heating did not work.

The landlord was very kind and professional, the bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding and we had an excellent breakfast. I just wished my scrambled eggs were that good 😁.

The room paintwork needs a little freshening up but apart from that it was fine.

Dogs in the kitchen, very dated decor, it all felt as if it could do with a good clean and a bit of a makeover. I would not recommend it to friends or family.

lovely cosy cottage in ideal location, 5 minute walk into town. lovely decor and loved the bath in the bathroom.

had a few temp issues as was very hot and cosy when we arrived. it was immediately turned down for us though, however same happened again the next night but instead of being turned down it was turned completely off so was quite cold in the night. would say this is down to miscommunication though so not really a dislike.
