The resort is big and the villas are spacious and spotless. Breakfast buffet spread is vast. We booked airport transfers via the hotel and the Marriott representatives made the entire check in and check out from/to the airport, boat terminal to the hotel lobby a seamless and relaxing journey!
Some of the buffet breakfast staff seemed too heavily focused on their jobs that often it was hard to get eye contact to ask for something

Nice infrastructure, staff always at service and meeting our demands, beautiful surroundings.
Some rooms with garden view are close to bird nests and they make a lot of noise, make sure to check that if it is your case.
Vegan/vegetarian meal options are limited in the restaurants, point to be improved.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thami, I hope I got her name right, at the front desk helped us deal with a small issue in our room and was very helpful. The swimming pool staff and the restaurant staff are also very helpful and try to make this holiday better.
The hotel is quite dated and a bit smelly. The is a bad smell on the tables, the beds and the sheets. The carpet in the corridor has a bad smell and looks dirty. The food is a hit and miss, one day it was good, the next day it was below average.
