This was our second stay at this unique Victorian home.It is a cozy and well-located home with lovely landscaping and an old world charm. The kitchen is well stocked for meal prep and is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the ocean view.As has been mentioned by a couple of other reviewers, the stairs to the upstairs bedroom may not be appropriate for someone with balance/mobility issues...as they seem to be original to the home and are not easy to navigate.We have had an issue with ants in the kitchen/dining room (and upstairs bathroom) during both our visits...even though our food items were securely contained.Also, be aware it will take several hours for the home to warm up after the heat is initially turned on...after which time, the home will remain comfortable as long as the heat is not turned off again for any length of time.Upon checkout, we passed along these issues to Property Management.

This house takes you back in time. Even though the owners have decorated the house with antiques, the beds are modern and comfortable. The top level has windows to open so you can enjoy the sight and sounds of the beach. Close to town and a block from the beach, this is the perfect location for a home away from home.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this lovely house very much. Aside from an issue with the thermostat (which was fixed promptly by the handyman), we had a very comfortable stay.The historic details of the house and its proximity to Moonstone Beach were wonderful. The high ceilings and large windows gave the home a very airy feel. The shower and bathtub in the upstairs bathroom were much more modern and convenient than the downstairs bathing option. I mention this because some may find using the stairs to be a bit of a challenge.We would definitely try to stay in this charming home again.

This was our 4th stay at the cottage and it was delightful as ever! We ate breakfast on the deck, spent our evenings around the kitchen island and slept well in the cozy bedrooms. It’s the perfect gathering place for our cousins/aunt getaway. Such a great location being close to the boardwalk and town. Because the downstairs bathroom has a claw foot tub and shower, this may not be ideal for someone who can’t climb in or out or climb stairs.

Warmly decorated with plenty of amenities for a most comfortable stay. Excellently maintained outdoor grounds as well. The only problem we had was instructions to turn on the TV. Haha!! Multiple remotes can be a challenge. We managed though. First level claw foot tub definitely fits with the era of Victorian architecture but may not be best for some seniors. Wonderful Victorian with fully outfitted kitchen even a waffle maker. Easy walk to beach and boardwalk. Sunny upstairs bedroom and bathroom and deck. We had some sunny days and rainy ones as well. Heat worked well and laundry with soap. Beautiful garden and books on Cambria. Scenic Coast property rental very professional and efficient. Precious family time!

We could walk to town walk to beach walk to a nice hike and walk to a nice dinner. Or make dinner at home the kitchen had everything we needed when we decide to stay home and cook a little relaxing dinner. This was a great little trip to a cozy home.

This was my 2nd time in the Victorian Lightkeepers House by the Sea. Great home to bring family and friends to Celebrate a special event. A Quite and Tranquil home, with all the special touches. Enjoy the Views from the Upstair Balcony and playing cards on the Downstairs patio...Walk to town for Breakfast, Wine Tasting, shopping was a great day for us. So much to say, but it is a place to make your own memories one never to forget. Thank you so much...worth the Drive.

we have been renting this home for years. We love the location, the home itself, and Cambria in general. The home has a great eat-in kitchen, three nice large bedrooms and just a great overall homey feeling. It also has a very nice fenced yard and a large deck to enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors. It is just a short walk down the street to Moonstone Beach. We have always had a very positive experience and will continue to make this our home away from home when we visit the Central Coast.
