Location was very good with proximity of beach. The pools were very good and children liked the slides
we weren't able to book any of the speciality restaurants as they were fully booked but whenever we walked passed they were half empty.
The drinks were disappointing, especially the gin and tonics as they weren't served with tonic.

There are a lot of activities to do. I did tennis, my boy did archery, with very good instructors (thank you Nina and Alexandra). There is a nice coffee bar with a wonderful nice lady (cannot remember her name). Nice pancakes in the afternoon. Rooms are clean and spacious. We arrived early and had the room before 15h which was very Nice.Nice environment with Nice beach and good opportunity to walk.
Hotel needs an update. Airconditioning is not working well. Good choice in the restaurant but poor quality of food. At gala evening the food was good and the tables were set. I was disappointed that this was not every evening the case. Boy was attacked by a wasp nest at the football field. Mentioned it at the guest relation service, but had not the idea they would do something about it. While children were playing there all the time, wasps were still there after 2 days without any warning sign ( making a paper with a warning sign is not a big effort in my opinion if it could save lives if you do not have the option to remove it).
This was our 5th Magic Life, but in my opinion it does not meet the standards of a Magic Life Hotel.

Does the big things well. Food great, location good, rooms good, facilities good. Checking in was easy and we got lots of help with excursions and booking taxis.
The do the little things poorly. There was on several occasions a queue of over 20 people for the evening bar (waiting 20 minutes for a drink) this led to guests arguing and put resort staff in an awkward position.
The two special restaurants are almost un bookable unless you are lightening fast on the app. Reception had no means of helping and just told us to keep trying. The excuse was that it’s a small restaurant and a big resort. Fine, don’t offer it. Or if you are going to offer it, you must come up with a way of making it available to all.
The wine is truly awful (perhaps personal taste) but I understand the difference between cheap but drinkable and truly awful. If you want to drink wine, budget to buy something else.

Good for families but doesn’t really cater for couples without children. There is little focus on what adults without children might like.

Very very nicely located for families with kids, at a lovely beach which is great for families, with a lot of local families but not overcrowded, even on a Sunday.Very very well maintained grounds.
Good entertainment Programm for the kids (and adults as well),lovely, friendly and smiling staff.
They are providing cold and room tempered water all day long within several fountains - I found this great!
Also that they served always fresh fruits and vegetables.
We had a “bumpy” start at the breakfast buffet and unfortunately our double bed had been two single beds linked together with 2single mattresses, unhappily the club don’t provide a solution for this yet which was quite uncomfortable.
I also found that soft drinks for children, available all day long are very very sweet as well as some dishes at the kids buffet had been quite “fatty” - BUT the club manager had an open ear for complaints and suggestions and after a very kind conversation he promised to try and find a solution, which was very positive.
The pool area is nice but unfortunately due to the indiscipline of a lot of guests it gets dirty in the afternoon - even with regular cleaning you cannot fight this. Would be nice if people would throw away their trash and bring back the cups to the drop off areas.

Food was great quality and selection for an all inclusive package. The kiddie level servery was a great idea. The entertainment team was great and it was lovely to see families enjoying time together each evening. The ferry calling at the Cala Pada beach was a real bonus. Es Canar in walking distance along the coast from the resort was a bonus.
Queues at the bar.

Good facilities outside of the room. Nice pool and beach. Lovely kids club
Very tired bedroom and bathroom. There was a strong smell of ammonia coming from the cupboard in the bedroom (very much like urine!). I called reception straight away and a cleaner arrived promptly but completely dismissed me, very rudely, and told me in Spanish that I was wrong. She then sprayed some bleach (more ammonia!). The shower in the very old bathroom leaked everywhere. It backed onto the wall with said cupboard, so assume the inner wall was sodden with damp, and that is where the smell was coming from. Shoddy

very clean, so much to do, so much choice plenty of sun beds.
the wunder bar in the evenings was short staffed and there was always a long queue and long wait.

When we left.
The room was damp and dingy. The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful. The facilities were old and worn.

We liked the layout the pools and entertainment. We.loved magic radio and the kids loved the movie.
It was a little disappointing there was no entertainment on Monday. The kids also say the games room didn't work out as they kept losing money through faulty machines.

Fabulous breakfast - anything you could possibly want! All meals were stunningly good - great choice, carefully cooked and presented. Staff were friendly and efficient. Evening entertainment perfect for our group of 4 - 70 year old.

The property was clean and comfortable. Food was good, plenty of choice and the kids.
Lots of activities, clean and fun pool areas.
Good entertainment.
Kids loved the daily crepe and waffle station.
Alcoholic drinks and cocktails where good too.
I think this is down to the time of year but the wasps and bees around the drinks dispenser and bar. Not sure what the hotel could do because it’s wildlife, it was just off putting for the kids.

Not high rise. felt spacious and clean but walking distance to venues
bar areas could have a bit more appeal. Street food restaurant was poor compared to the rest

pool area, lots of entertainment
block 3 room was noisy at night due to the restaurant
smelled of sewage
further than I thought to walk to resorts, too far with kids
couldn’t book speciality restaurants, we tried every evening at 7.

Proximity to the beach at Cala Pada
Hotel was extremely well appointed, great facilities
Great range of food at the buffet restaurant
Good gluten free selection of food (I'm coeliac and had lots of options)
Loved the bar directly on the beach, beautiful verandah
Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable
Lots of activities available if you wanted to get involved
The drinks machines didn't always have cups (so had to queue at the bar anyway) so it was frustrating for the staff too as their queue's could have been reduced
Hot drinks machines in the buffet restaurant were quite often out of order
Midnight snacks fridge wasn't very well stocked
One of our rooms (it was a disabled access room - 462 I think) was a bit smelly, like a drain smell. Ours (next door) was absolutely fine

loved the space, beach bar use, and rooms were very spacious. staff were lovely. very clean and pools good.
the buffet was very chaotic!!! also all good shuts at 9.30 and would have liked to eat bit later.
3.0
Spacious & easy to get sun beds. Nice pools.
The food was awful. We actually only ate in the restaurant twice out of the 9 nights that we stayed as the food was so bad. Considering the amount of money we paid for all inclusive, we certainly didn’t get value for money. The air conditioning in the room was a ceiling fan!! Either sweat with the heat, or don’t sleep with the noise of the fan??
8.0
The grounds that it was set in was very nice
The entertainment for the children was very poor and not much of it.
