The condo was located on the 2nd floor in a gated community. We stayed in building 2, which was very close to the beach. At first glance, the pictures seem to show a pool attached to the condo, but those are the 1st floor condo units. 3rd floor units also seemed to have rooftop access.
Food options were a little scarce and deliver took over an hour each time. In hindsight, we should have opted for the prestocked fridge and chef service.
The condo itself was beautiful. Lots of space, and the balcony was great for hanging out. When we arrived it seemed as if the cleaning process was halted midway; however, Saul arranged to have the crew return to complete the process.
As for amenities, the welcome basket was a nice touch and we enjoyed all of the options. The bathrooms only came with shampoo, no conditioner. Some of the washing pods (the non-tide ones) would not dissolve in the wash, so it made for a sticky messy situation. Even with that, thankful for the washer and dryer in the unit!!
Overall, it was a beautiful location and a great place to celebrate my birthday.

We loved every bit of our stay at Condo Christian!
The property was great and located literally just steps from the beach. We were looking for somewhere nice to rest, hang out and relax - and that is what we found. We loved the view from our living room and patio with both the beautiful pool and the beach- best of both worlds.
The first night we had some A/C issues, but they were taken care of promptly and we were comfortable the rest of the stay. Saul was prompt to respond with any questions we had. It was nice to have 5 gallon bottled water provided free and replaced whenever we needed. The condo was a perfect size and set up for our family of 2 parents with 5 adult children. We loved the large TV and sectional couch for movie night every night. Went to the gym to work out most days, and the little Beach Club restaurant was wonderful for beach side lunch or light dinner.
Just a note about the area- the taxis are state regulated fares and are pricier than we would have expected. Uber or Lyft are forbidden in the region. Even with that, I was glad to not have to worry about driving, parking or dealing with a rental car. We even walked home from downtown Playa del Carmen one afternoon - it took a little over 30 minutes and was an interesting view of the local culture.
Our family loved our stay and the property. It is definitely on our list to recommend to friends and potentially return again someday.

Views are amazing
We loved our time staying here, and it held our family of seven very well. The views were amazing and Saul, the property manager was available for everything we needed. My only criticism is that we have stayed at Mareazeul many times in other condos, and of all the condos we have stayed in, this one was the most worn and had fewer amenities. (it felt like a rental property and none of the others have felt this way). While we would definitely return because of the views and the size, if you are looking for a condo that is in tip top shape, this would not be for you.

We had 8 people for our stay over spring break. The place was great. The pool and beach were fantastic. We cooked breakfast and lunch at the condo on most days and ventured into playa del Carmen for dinner. Our concierge, Francisco was very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, secure apartment, steps from the beach
The apartment is very nice and spacious. Family of 9 ranging in ages from 8 to 72 enjoyed it thoroughly. Great pool and bar service. Quick 10 minute cab ride to 5th avenue ($40 rt for 9 person van).

Ramirez and Kim family vacation
Our overall experience was fantastic. The condo was beautiful and the pool and beach were convenient. Not being able to use the washer and dryer the last couple days was difficult, as we were counting on laundry for those days of clothes. So minus having to wearing dirty clothes home, it was great. Oh, and they were very prompt to come clean up the water and very nice.

Amazing week with a big group! Definitely going back.
We went to this property ("Christian") as a group of 11 adults and children. It was beautiful, clean, and a perfect vacation spot for families. The view from the unit is breathtaking, the kitchen and living area is huge, and the two master bedrooms were amazing. We used the two additional bedrooms for kids. It was a perfect layout. Deborah is the concierge and is so kind and helpful in planning whatever you want to do. The beach is steps from the building and we were always easily able to get chairs set up for us, and the pool is incredible (bonus: we watched the kids swim in the pool from the balcony!). The Beach Club next door had delicious lunches, and at night we either cooked (once!) or took the very easy 7-minute cab ride in to town for dinner. I cannot recommend this place enough.

College Graduation Celebration!!!
Beautiful! The condo, resort, beach and pool all delightful. The scenery was gorgeous! Our condo had 3 balconies all ocean views. We were a party of 6 celebrating two of them graduating college. Had a blast! The condo was beautiful and spacious - just lovely. The beds were comfortable and I loved that each room had its own thermostat. :) The beach and water were so clean and pretty... loved swimming in the ocean. We had designated chairs and umbrellas for us to use as part of the resort. A beach house for food and drinks. The pool was clean and spectacular in size. We felt like we had a section of the pool all to ourselves. It was huge!!! The people everywhere were courteous and nice. We had a personal concierge and she was well organized and attentive - thanks Deborah! You were great to work with! The town was quaint and friendly. Lots of restaurants and little shops including a mall a few blocks from us. We enjoyed Joya - highly recommend seeing this. Visited the Rivera Mayan Ruins and Xel-Ha and enjoyed both. There is many things to do or beautiful sceneries to just relax. It had it all. The owner was excellent at responding quickly to any questions. All in all it was a very nice trip.

Great place for a family vacation
We had a great vacation staying at this property. There were eight of us staying at the condo, so this condo was a great fit for us with its four bedrooms, indoor and outdoor table each with eight chairs, and large common area. The resort is close to downtown and just a few steps from a great beach, so it's a perfect location. The pool at the property is also incredible, it is easily the largest pool I've ever seen, with lots of cool features like places to lay out and tan right within the pool. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it. We stayed in mid-March 2016 and there never seemed to be more than 15-20 people at a time at either the beach or pool. There are a lot of surrounding condos, but it seems like they either aren't all sold yet or they are being used as vacation homes for people who don't rent them out when they're not in use.

Wonderful home away from home
We visited Playa del Carmen late Feb and this was a well situated unit to stay and enjoy the holiday. The unit was spacious - outdoor and indoor - beautifully maintained with the convenience of washer/dryer, large kitchen that allowed plenty of foot traffic while preparing meals, and ample bathrooms. There were two rooms more quietly situated which was great for the kids and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor terrace. It had a beautiful view of the beach so you didn't need to be out on the sand to watch the sunrise, though if you did it was only a few steps away. We cabbed to the market a few times and the front desk was very helpful securing a cab for us, so no problems with that. Plenty of towels. Wifi was great, many of us were able to get work done as well during quiet down times, and - yes - were able to get netflix (for the kid shows, longer running streams were more challenging.). It's a beautiful property to walk on and it felt very safe. The complex itself is huge, it never felt over crowded and more very private. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommended
We had 8 people with us for the 4 bedrooms which was perfect. The condo community was very nice, there were a few beach chairs that you could use during the day if you got there early enough but the real bonus was the fantastic pool. The pool was almost always empty (as was the entire condo community it seemed, I imagine they aren't fully sold yet) and absolutely gorgeous. The only downside was that you really need to have a car to get downtown to the various restaurants etc. unless you want to just stay at the condo/beach and use the kitchen the whole time. You can get a taxi by going to the main desk at the front entrance of the community - its about 160 pesos per trip plus tip ($15 or so) though so that can add up pretty fast - rental car is the way to go. Just know that you need to have proof of foreign insurance printed and with you or else the rental car company will charge you a massive up charge per day for their own required insurance. We learned that the hard way.

Fantastic Playa Del Carmen property
Our group of 6 adults traveled to Playa Del Carmen for a 5 day work retreat at the beginning of February. The grounds of the development were stunning, a really gorgeous pool and beach area. Of all the developments within the larger Grand Coral area, Mareazul is closest to the beach, this unit looked directly out over both the pool and the ocean. The unit itself is very nice, 4 large bedrooms, 2 with jacuzzi baths. There is an additional jacuzzi on the balcony. A very nice kitchen with basic cooking gear.
We only cooked one night in the condo because there are so many amazing restaurants on 5th Avenue in Playa. We loved Yaxche, with its authentic Mayan cuisine, and La Cueva del Chango (Cave of the Monkey) for its atmosphere and artwork, and La Bodeguita del Medio Cuban restaurant for the live music.
Also make sure you take the ferry to Isla de Mujeres, which has nice beaches on the North End and a relaxing vibe tooling around the island in a rented golf cart. We stayed clear of Cancun and its overcrowded touristy beaches. An excursion is a must and we loved Riviera Adventours and its Extreme Tulum Expedition (underwater cave snorkeling, cliff dive, ziplining, Tulum ruins).
The ownership of Christian condo was very helpful and responded quickly to emails I sent prior to the trip asking about wi-fi (free and included) and irons, towels, etc...
The only things that might stand out as not being perfect were the washer/dryer in the unit, which honestly is the worst, most confusing washer/dryer I have ever seen, but it's free and right there in your condo so who cares? Also we would have loved to stay a little bit later on checkout day because we had a later flight, but they had someone checking in that afternoon so we had to be out by 11am. Cannot fault them for that. We just packed up our cars and went down to the pool for a couple hours, and showered and changed in the changing rooms there!
We had such a great time that individuals are already planning to return with their friends and families.

Modern,clean and quiet. Spacious condo with great service from the staff at NASPM. Very beautiful rooms, modern kitchen, separate baths, gorgeous ocean views + cleaning service. What's not to like? Shared with another family and we had plenty of room in this large condo. 10 minute drive to downtown restaurants. Less than an hr to the airport. Can't wait to go back.

A fabulous week in Playa del Carmen
Beautiful condo set in an area of the complex that is close to the beach and the pools. Amazing views. The complex was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was attentive and helpful. Although you will probably need a car, it is close to the downtown action for a change of pace. Our condo had four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Very spacious and open layout. Plenty of room for our group of nine to just hang out and not get in anyone’s way. The presence of some staff/security around the complex made us feel safe all the time.

The pictures do not do justice for what you really experience! Very modern, clean, and tons of room if you get the whole place!! The view from the outside balcony is breath taking, and the beach is literally down the walk way. The location is in a new development so not a lot of people, perfect if you're trying to get away from everything. But close enough to 5th ave (about 10min taxi ride, 100-200pesos) that you are not far from the ferry to cozumel, Mamitas beach, tons of restaurants, coco bongo (those looking for a fun night life must try this!). There is security to let you in and out of the property, very safe in general in playa del carmen. I will be coming back here!!
