Good location, local to shops and a 15 minute walk into the city centre, clean and had everything you need.

There isn’t an instruction manual and we had to message the owner to get instructions to put the heating on. The small remote for the heating didn’t work - possibly the batteries need changing. One of the two bedrooms has an en suite which means the person in the other bedroom either has to come in to use the bathroom during the night or go downstairs. The bedroom doors are very heavy which is a little difficult if you are small and elderly. The cistern in the en suite has a really annoying drip.

Superb location. 10 mins walk to town centre. Great value for money and nicely apportioned.

It’s noisy. The fire doors are really hard to open and bang. Floorboards creak, stairs are noisy due to lack of carpeting there’s no cushioning of sound. You can’t seem to do anything quietly in the house. I certainly feel sorry for the neighbours. Whilst I understand the reason for lack of carpets I think the floorboards can be fixed and maybe something doing with those doors! I also think there needs to be a coatrack in the hall. Nowhere to hang your coats.

Cozy and charming. Not too far from the city and nice quiet location.

Door closers are set too tight. You really need to push a lot to open them and with luggage it is difficult. Suggest lightening the tension so it still functions but without a struggle.

The property was in a great location, 15 min walk to city centre and train station. The house had a well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water.

The property was advertised as ‘dog friendly’ however we were told we wouldn’t be able to leave our dog here unattended. Although Pass the Keys were brilliant with communication and came back to us saying we could, it shouldn’t really be advertised as something it’s not. The fire doors throughout the property are incredibly heavy and for someone who is young and fit - even I struggled to open them. It may be worth noting this property would not be suitable for someone with dexterity issues. The bed in the room with en-suite was incredibly noisy and creaked everytime you moved - this made for a challenging nights sleep. The handrail on the stairs is coming away from the wall and every time you held onto it, it moved. The private garden area is just decking and again not very dog friendly - might be worth noting this for future guests. We checked out on the day BST started and actually lost an hour of our stay, whilst this was minor, we asked if we could check out an hour later and this was declined. The property was freezing when we arrived and took about 12 hours to warm up. We did inform Pas the Keys of our arrival time and it would have been nice to arrive in the property pre heated.
