Hilton London Angel Islington

I chose the Hilton, Angel Islington as I was attending a wedding at Islington Registry office on the Saturday. Other friends attending the wedding stayed at the hotel as well. Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful, managing to ensure I had a room with the walk-in shower I requested. The water pressure was very good and hot water plentiful. The room was very comfortable, well appointed with drinks, fridge, hairdryer etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the room being in a quiet position in the hotel, I slept well. The restaurant and bar area was spacious and so the tables were well spaced out. The breakfast had a very good choice of hot and cold food, and ran for a good time span, enabling friends and I to have a leisurely breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. As it was nice weather, we also appreciated the outdoor seating area as well. The snacks available to guests in the foyer were a nice addition to the stay. Special mention must go to a member of staff called Rajib: he sent me a text once I had booked in, welcoming me and checking my room was to my satisfaction. He followed this up by bringing me a complementary basket of goodies and got back to me the following day to check I had everything I needed that day. 🙂

The only thing I felt could be improved was the bread toaster at breakfast: even turned up to its highest, it only toasted the bread very lightly.

Everything about the hotel from the staff to the room, the room had the best bed ive ever slept in, mini fridge, kettle and other essentials, staff warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, I will 100% stay in a Hilton hotel again
