Lovely room in the annex, warm and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and everything was very clean. The room was big with an en-suite and a nice sitting area to the far end. There was a kettle, various drinks and biscuits. The hotel itself was modern looking inside, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice big car park which was free.
It was expensive for a 1 night stay.

The hotel is in a brilliant location for exploring the western Lake District. The hotel offers very comfortable accommodation. My bedroom was large with all amenities for a very pleasant stay. The meals were of a high standard.
One little niggle - TV reception in my room was poor and some channels which should have been available were not.

Great location, excellent friendly staff, good food & added bonus village shop in rear courtyard
Only complaint was fans directly outside room 16 noise when kitchen used below so disturbed sleep early morning. Didn’t realise till last day the fans were the cause otherwise would have asked for room change

Nice staff
Room is spacious and the beds are good
The lobby and restaurant are nice
The room is much older than it shows on the web.
Furniture and wall were a bit worn out and there are some old dirts on the armchairs.
We stayed in the room on top floor on a very not day. One blind was damaged, the other was so hard to pull down and we spent quite some effort to get it done so we can have a shaded room.
The window in bathroom has broken handle, we couldn't open the window so the bathroom was quite damp.
