Location, friendly staff

Made very welcome on arrival, had a drink from the bar on the terrace outside as it was a lovely sunny day. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We missed breakfast because we slept in quite late, testament to how comfy the bed was.
As a fan of John Barry I would have liked to see the hotel make a little more of the fact that this was his childhood home. There is a Blue Plaque on the wall outside, but apart from that nothing.

the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms could have been a little warmer.

Check in staff member super friendly
Building is tired needs a refurb and a good clean, poorly signposted, breakfast staff cold seemed it was an issue us being there, breakfast very poor in terms of taste and presentation. Car park stated as free.... it's not so ended up with an extra charge not impressed
