The Reef Hotel Casino Cairns - Handwritten Collection

Breakfast and other foods. We liked the bathroom facilities.

There was a mouldy smell coming from som carpets. The noise from outside was quite loud at times.

Breakie was lovely. Tasty. casino was fun. I had a game for the first time and had a good win. Exciting. Matt was a great help.

I was impressed with hotel and would return there next visit.

Hotel was in the center of everything, close to marina and great restaurants and shopping. It was an easy walk to the town, etc and perfect for a visit to Cairns!

Nothing.

Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful . Good location - close to everything - but also nice & quiet . Very clean . It was nice to have the Casino where there was live entertainment most nights - which was fun !! Rooms were very spacious & beds were comfortable.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel! Although the rooms are spacious & clean - they are VERY old & in desperate need of an upgrade ! Carpets were stained & shutters all needed replacing BADLY ! Also - the TV was very small & dated. The swimming pool area is quite nice - however the spa pool was cool (not warm ) and the Sauna is outdated & needs replacing . We did NOT feel that this hotel represents good value for money & we were very disappointed as this was going to be a little 'treat ' for us ! Based on the above we would not recommend this Hotel & will not be staying here again ! It is definitely time for a MAJOR refurbishment- or - the cost per night should be lowered to reflect the standard.
