Citrus Hotel Eastbourne by Compass Hospitality

Great location. The Hotel is on the sea front and at a 10 min walk from the town center.

No hooks to hang clothes in my room.

The hotel is in a great location and despite the usual signs of wear and tear that most hotels show here - checking in was easy, I would have liked a little more information regarding breakfast and how to use the wifi - none of this was covered and I couldn't log onto the wifi at all, there was nothing in the room to walk me through it. The room was spacious and clean - though a little dusty. The bed was comfortable although the mattress has seen better days. The bathroom was good although the included shower gel and shampoo by the bath were in need of replacement - whatever came out of the shower gel smelled foul and I immediately regretted attempting to use it - it was very watery and was not pleasant. I had a decent night's sleep, the hotel was quiet and I wasn't disturbed during my stay - it's great value for money and I would book again.

As above - more info needed at check in - what happens at breakfast / where you go etc. More info on the wifi and how to use it, some info in the room would be handy. Bathrooms are make or break at any hotel so making sure the soaps / shower gels etc are fresh and topped up is something that needs attention

The breakfast had so many choices i wished i was staying longer to sample every thing on offer . After a bad start and being offered another room they aranged for a plummer to make our second day safe

We chose a disabled room with a wetroom as i'm not able to climb in and out of the bath , and it would probably be ground floor but your first obstacle is a flight of stairs to reception .The toilet seat was very loose , the sink had been leaking making the wetroom floor slimey. Some of the lights didn't work. The view was just flat roofs. The coat hooks were wobbly. House keeping popped round at 5pm like surely no ones in that room They say there's a lift but it's not working.
