The staff were very friendly and gave us a convenient room because I had a folding bike.
This is a lively area of the city but our room was very quiet.
We didn't opt for breakfast but got porridge pots from M&S Food in the station.
There was a smell of smoke in the corridor but my wife reported it and the matter was resolved.
My wife thought it looked rather run down from the outside but on the other hand I loved the diverse character of the street which is in contrast to the modern buildings.

Very near to the station!
Don’t stay on the city’s floor…Saturday night in central Birmingham is very noisy!!!

Location is ok bedding was clean. Towels were clean
Old hotel quite shabby . Lift is not really useable , manual heavy doors. Room smelled of heavy smoke. Road noise was bad. Old rubbish on ledge outside window. Carpet was dirty. Old tired decor
