Village Hotel Newcastle

The breakfast was excellent. Everything you could want provided. The location likewise. We were strangers to the area, travelling from York & it was very easily located. The staff were friendly & helpful. The bedroom & surrounding areas were clean & fresh. The bed very comfortable & very well presented. The swimming pool was wonderful. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We were holidaying in England for a week & it was the cheapest, cleanest, friendliest & best hotel that we stayed in. I will be looking out for Village Hotels in future. I'd never heard of them before. I hope they come to Ireland. Also, that they maintain their high standards in all their locations. (This is the only one that I've visited)

Nothing. Oh, & the car park is good too.

Good hotel and good location

Nothing all good

The family room was a good size, beds were comfy. Good food options on site.

Additional parking charge needed for the stay. The bathroom was outdated. The room cups were dirty and dusty. We stayed as a family with a child and baby on the first floor we could here the music from the bar, the noise from the room above was really loud. Only one lift available for all the rooms

Friendly reception clean room

Hot as heck !! A fan may help, Bar so noisy and have to go to bar for room service when packed! When arriving late there is no I Option… the heat and impersonal service is not good for a loan traveller
