Staff - the receptionist managed to change us to a more suitable room. Breakfast waitress very attentive.
The evening meal options not very inspiring or healthy and batter on the fish too dense and overcooked

Stayed in the deluxe room which is a cottage near main entrance,
Very large comfortable room with large soft bed,
Duvet and pillows were perfect,,
Carpet throughout apart from bathroom which had a large shower & lux bath ,
Far better than standard room which I stayed last time.
Staff at breakfast very kind & made me feel at home.
Good choice with breakfast.
Definitely recommend delux room , unsure if would stay in standard room again,
Great pub opposite too

It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful and perfect for what we needed
Room was a little dated, the carpet was balding in places and the shower was a bit faulty. But it really didn’t ruin the experience for us

Beautiful location and some staff were incredible. Sausages at breakfast for the dogs and the dinner menu is amazing.
It’s very close to a main road and hospital route. The hotel itself needs a fair bit of work, including being soundproof as you’re woken at all hours by traffic, sirens and guests. Zero communication about what was included for the dogs, and in fact this part is misleading when we found out on arrival that we could have had extras for them plus we were charged the £30 PER dog not £30 for the dogs (up to two, which we had). We were offered a refund for this but were not that there would be fireworks on Saturday night. They seem to have no clue about dogs and requirements.
