Breakfast is great, the hotel is in a remote but beautiful setting and Ian from reception was an absolute star in helping us sort out the fact that we had accidentally double booked our stay.
Portions at the restaurant had become a lot smaller since the last time we stayed and dined there in February. Back then we thought the restaurant was outstanding, this time it was sadly merely good.

Pool chilly. Towels on reception. Awkward. Unstaffed.

Lovely location, Good facilities, Excellent Restaurant. Clean Room. Spa OK.
Room-Facilities. For the price we paid for the room the facilities in the room were poor. For example there was no mini fridge in the room.
Room -View. The view from our room was the shabby roof of an adjoining building. Could not see ANY of the grounds.
Room -Noise. The first night of our stay, the noise form a disco or band somewhere on the premises was so LOUD we could hardly hear the TV let alone sleep. This LOUD music persisted until late at night. (The second night was quiet).
