Venezia Resort Hotel & Spa

We had a wonderful experience. The property exceeded our expectations. The reception staff were so welcoming. They helped us make arrangements for a memorable holiday. Virginia and Tzoanna were like family! George the executive chef prepared excellent meals and George the restaurant manager was a wonderful host with so much fun and enthusiasm. He had a great team. We all had such a great time

The stay wasn’t long enough.

The hotel had 3 different pools for adults, 3 different vibes for each one. The meals were fantastic. Free transfer to the sea with 5 different times. Car rental option in the hotel, so you dont have to think or search for ootions if you dont want to.

The room occasionally had a rotten egg smell from somewhere, but we didnt complain, so cant take away points Quite far from town, steep climb back

It was a big hotel with many pool areas which is perfect because then you can choose different areas every day. Beautiful scenery, big and clean room. Loved the arcade area, fun to do something different.

The food in the main restaurant was quite simple but not anything to complain about.

The cleaning staff did an excellent job every day, and the rooms were always clean. Most of the waiters, the chefs and the night reception staff were genuinely kind, welcoming and hardworking. The cocktails were good, and the food improved noticeably during our last two days. The Moroccan themed dinner was by far the best meal of the week. The pool areas were also nice, and the hotel itself has potential.

Unfortunately, this was one of the least welcoming all-inclusive hotels we have stayed at. The overall atmosphere from some staff members made us feel like guests were an inconvenience rather than welcome, compared to other all-inclusives we have been to. In particular, the manager/supervisor at the buffet restaurant came across as dismissive and uninterested. The buffet lacked variety, with almost the same breakfast and and only small changes at lunch. The bread was stale on multiple occasions. We reported it to a staff member, who appeared to already be aware of the issue, but nothing was done until after we made a complaint. I also found a worm in my food, which was extremely disappointing. The eggs were poor, the snack bar food (especially the pizza) was disappointing, and bottled water was not included outside buffet hours despite the hotel being all-inclusive. One bartender wrongly assumed I was not staying at the hotel because my long-sleeved beach cover-up hid my wristband. Instead of politely asking, she shouted at me in front of others and never apologized after realizing the mistake. The entertainment was the biggest disappointment. Most evenings consisted of simple dance routines where guests were repeatedly asked to participate. We expected to be entertained, not to become the entertainment ourselves. Compared with other all-inclusive resorts we have visited, the evening shows were very underwhelming. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, but the connection was poor and frequently unavailable. There is a paid “premium” Wi-Fi option, but I don’t think guests at an all-inclusive resort should have to pay extra for a reliable internet connection. We ended up using our mobile data for most of our stay. Finally, the hotel is located on a steep hill, which can be exhausting in the summer heat, and there is no Uber or Bolt available in the area, making transport less convenient.
