we asked for twin beds and got two super king beds next to each other with no space on either side so had to crawl into bed from the bottom end. Not ideal for two people in their 70's. The back windows were about a foot from the next building and the front windows were on a public balcony.This meant the room though a good size was always dark as we had the shutters closed. Service in the cafe was very slow and the second day all we wanted was coffee and croissant and they didn't have any and it was only 8.00am. We had to ask for towels when we arrived and when they cleaned the room they were only in for 5 minutes and again had to ask for fresh towels.

One of the best Georgetown Heritage & Hotel at Penang. So I berkesempatan stay beberapa hari di Muntri Mews yg berkonsepkan Peranakan + Heritage. Banyak sejarah ttg banggunan yang diorang convert to hotel & suite ni. I really impress with the architecture, interior dan exterior setiap sudut dan ruang suite, the way they preserved and maintain tempat ni mmg harus diberi pujian. The room was spacious. If you guys plan to travel to Penang, this is the best choice.

1) The price a lil bit pricey, maybe the standard room is not more than RM200. 2) Sound proof - you still can hear the footsteps from upstairs.

The size of the room can only be described as huge. I'm not sure of the exact size but it would be in the vicinity of 90 m2. The airconditioning worked very well, the beds were comfortable, the shower and toilet was good as well. We did enjoy a couple of breakfasts where we checked in across the road and there was an abundance of restaurants all within walking distance.

I personally found that there was too much light in the room during the evening which made sleep a little difficult for me. The room above us has wooden floors and the children made plenty of noise running back and forth playing during the early evening.

I looooved Muntri Mews! The staff was so accommodating and friendly— especially Raj (i think that was his name…). They were very helpful and super sweet! Me and my family of 8 all stayed at the hotel in four different rooms. The rooms were beautiful and I loved the huge beds placed next to one another. It could definitely fit four people comfortably but it was just me and my partner in the room, so we essentially got a bed to ourselves ehile sleeping right next to each other! The terrace was beautiful and a great place to eat lunch/breakfast or enjoy a coffee! The room itself was super clean and a great shower. I highly recommend staying here! Would 100% stay again.

I wish that the blankets were a bit heavier and more fluffy! Breakfast was not included in our rate which was a bummer, but the cafe looked cute and busy! If we had more time definitely would have tried it. We opted to eat in Penang though! Also no pool.

is over priced. the second room we booked was not same as picture shown. the room aren’t cleaned as my girl feels itchiness on skin and we requested to change the bedsheet on the second day.
