Great view, staff were very helpful in getting the washing machines to work. Gym was small but serviceable, bed was very comfortable and shower was good.

Pool was a bit on the cold side. Location wasn't the worst but also not super close to everything.

Very good location, close to the central area and extremely accessible to food and attractions. Walkable around most places I wanted to go. Rooms are cozy and has most of the amenities you need. I appreciate the friendly staff and availability when I needed help from the front desk.

Facilities were less than ideal during my stay: 1. Guest WiFi was not working properly, we experienced a lot of trouble signing in. Eventually one of the kind staff at the front desk helped us log in, and the connectivity issue was resolved. 2. My room’s aircon wasn’t working properly. It wouldn’t cool the room and disrupted our sleep for 2 nights until they allowed us to change rooms on our final night staying there. Then the new room’s TV had missing pixels on the screen :| 3. Beware of the glass panel in the bathroom’s shower. The door is quite difficult to open (maybe poor workmanship or what?) My finger got caught in the door and it gashed my skin and which led it to bleed quite badly. Thank goodness I know basic first aid to quickly treat the wound. I asked the staff for a first aid kit to properly clean and treat the wound area, they only gave me a small band aid and asked if I needed them to check on the door. I WAS INJURED FROM THE HOTEL’S FACILITY AND ALL YOU CARED ABOUT WAS THE DOOR and not your customer’s safety??? 4. Used the cutleries in the kitchenette in the lobby. Not sure why but the sponges to scrub the items was quite greasy and made everything washed using it very oily too. Overall, I actually like staying at Lyf and their branches. This may have just been a rare bad streak of unfortunate events that happened during my stay. The staff are generally quite hospitable and friendly, yet this time I’ve realised that it’s quite a hit and miss whoever is at the front desk at the time.
