The location was good and the complex grounds were pretty

We was not impressed with the apartment. We booked a superior apartment which the site supervisor said was ground floor level with a private terrace (it had a small terrace but was not private) He told us the first floor apartments with balconies were standard. Shortly after I booked I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to an apartment with a balcony - so which is superior ground or first floor - did we actually get what we paid for? There was nothing superior about the apartment we stayed in and it was not cheap. Over 200 a night! The furniture was extremely uncomfortable. Very cheap plastic garden chairs with weird covers were the main seats inside the lounge along with a rock hard sofa bed. The room was sparce and just not homely at all. We had an ant infestation in the bathroom for 2 days which the site supervisor said was due to the kitchen bin, there were no ants in the kitchen and our new neighbours had the same problem in their bathroom. There is zero soundproofing to the apartments and we had 5 young children in 2 apartments next to us which was incredibly noisy. They just dragged the plastic chairs across the tiled floors along with constant door slamming, and that's without all the screaming and running around - it drove us mad! We complained straight away and was more or less told to put up with it. He said he spoke to the neighbours but with no sound proofing the noise levels did not stop even when the children left. Other neighbours told us they felt the same. You could literally hear a tap running, a loo flushing, a wardrobe door slamming, front doors and communal doors slamming and shaking the apartments - this amount of noise is all from the neighbouring apartments. It was not the relaxing holiday that we had hoped for. Infact we were glad to leave. The booking also confirmed there would be luxurious slippers in the bathroom - there were none!

excellent location, very peaceful, property and grounds well maintained. Kitchen area adequate, bathroom reasonable.

not very much … the town was cool , I thought we were getting a good deal when I saw the prices .. the air was very stuffy but the owner of the place was even stuffier … it you are American , I would stay away - I believe the owner does not like English speaking people .. he didn’t act like a service industry person , more like a prison guard .. actually very rude at best

the people who worked there English speaking people beware ! stay away ! don’t spoil the scenery with this place ..

This is an exceptional place: you pay a decent amount, but you get something truly unique. A beautiful piece of land with authentic Italian-style villas and direct access to the lake. It's just wonderful!

The deck was great with a nice view.

Bed was too firm. Furniture sparse and uncomfortable. Not able to walk to town as on a very busy road with no sidewalk and quite a distance away.

Beautiful place ; nice pool en great place on the lake. Big room for a family with two rooms and a kitchen.

Beds were not very comfortable, cleaning was not included. Reception lady was nice but could not speak English en had to call her boss 3 times. check in and check out together took us an hour ( and we were the only guests at that moment at reception) 250 euro deposit for 2 nights and a lot of rules

The foundation of the residence is stunning and due to the omnipresent stones the temperature is always agreeable, even when it's really hot outside. The pool is small, but nice and clean. The fact that you can directly jump into the lake is of course, awesome.

The messages sent automatically by the Residence as soon as the booking was confirmed were rude and felt more like a threat than a warm welcome. It almost made us overthink the booking and cancel it. They did not respond to any questions we asked before arriving, thus customer service was terrible. The rooms are roomy and have all the necessary equipment, however, one can see that it is quite old and they have not updated most of their things in years (except kitchen equipment). Best example is a tag we found, that showed a penalty in Deutsche Mark...
