Size of the rooms and windows were dirty.

The Tryst Beachfront Hotel is home to my favorite beach bar, The Atlantic at The Tryst. I had always stayed at other hotels but frequently visited this beach bar, so I decided to stay at the hotel this time. The staff is great! They let us check in early, and the bartenders and servers really take care of you. They have the best drinks and food of any beach bar in the area. Just down the stairs, you’re right on the beach, where you can grab a fresh coconut or pineapple from the local vendors. There’s also a woman named Maria who sells freshly baked, homemade empanadas, which makes the whole experience even better! Overall, a great hotel with an amazing beach bar, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the bathroom. I chose a queen-sized room with an ocean view, but the bathroom was very small. The shower is inches away from the toilet, and there isn’t enough room to turn around comfortably in the shower like you would at home. They do offer larger rooms with slightly bigger bathrooms, but this was one of the smallest hotel bathrooms I’ve ever experienced. My advice is to choose your room carefully to avoid getting one with a tiny bathroom. Be sure to check the square footage listed in the room description before booking!

The staff were polite and courteous. The room was clean, and the location was close to everything.

We booked the hotel because it was close to the sea, but the water was so rough and windy that we couldn't go in; consequently, its seaside location didn't really matter to us. The room was clean but small and smelled of dampness. There was no space in the room to unpack our suitcases. The bathroom was cramped and impractical. Furthermore, there was body hair—not just head hair, but body hair—on the shower curtain. Room servise was too loud and made us wake up.
