Good location for where I needed to be.
There didn't seem to be enough staff. They were hard working, just not enough of them.

Room was nice could do with a bit TLC in bathroom, food was excellent
Nice food but a little dearer then expected, we did suggest they did a smaller roast dinner as we both couldn't finish ours

Just brilliant staff.could not do enough to make our stay a good experience.
75 minutes wait for our dinner to arrive. Apparently a chef or two down in the kitchen??

The oldie worldie decoration was pleasant especially downstairs.
When we arrived we emailed and pre-booked for an evening meal, but we waited nearly 1 1/2 hour after chasing numerous times we finally got it. One of the meals was cold.
The room was not that appealing and looked in need of redecoration.
The WiFi kept cutting out, the TV didn’t work and the bedside lights didn’t work.
It was a comfortable bed in a sad room.
