I room was quiet and comfortable and super clean. All staff that we met were friendly and approachable.

The spa wasn't a spa it was a hot tub, but it was still ok.

There was an issue with the heat pump on our first night - I felt that i was 'scolded' for cranking it up and fobbed off as to why it was not working - ie it was my fault. The lady was quite abrupt and scolded me like a naughty schoolgirl! Clearly there was an issue as the next day i got a call to seek permission to enter my room as there was an issue with the heat pumps. We were given a heater by the gentleman on the reception on the second night as he indicated they were still working on the issue- this was greatly appreciated.

Location was great, close to shops and restaurants and short drive to many attractions. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our late check in was smooth and easy.

How quiet it was

The location was excellent. The room was a great size for a week long stay. We had a balcony and spa as well. Just perfect for our needs.

Quest property is located in the centre of Rotorua and close to eateries, shops and coffee shops with quiet spacious room with spa.

Location and parking

Walls were thin and could hear the people in the adjacent apartment talking in a normal voice.

It was central to shops and restaurants. It provided basic amenities for a comfortable stay.

Toilet requires a stronger flush. TV screen was half clear and other half one colour tone. Always need to be alert with car parking.

I've been charge 18nzdol for "bank fee" and I still don't know what it mean.. My own bank don't charge me for international paiement. And why the hotel has to be ? No other hotels charge me with these fees ?!

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Modern. Washing machine and tumble drier is helpful. The staff went above and beyond and were super friendly.

The room had a very high ceiling and the only window was narrow, long and much too high to see out of. The room was just off the foyer and next to the store room and was the only room on the ground floor. They did say we booked the last two rooms and although the fittings and amenities were good, I might not have booked if I had see actual pictures of THIS particular room. I later found out it was a converted boardroom, which in itself is not the issue, but I would have liked to be given the choice. That said, I would stay here again, but in a different room.

smell of mould when we came in. Had to open door and run aircon to decrease the smell. Hot water didn’t work, had to get maintenance in. Variable water pressure throughout stay. Went to reception to discuss mould smell and water issues. There was ZERO acknowledgement of the fact that the room smelled. Completely dismissed it.
