It's quite central to everything - a nice, busy beach about 200metres away, the R1/R2 bus stop just across the street, a big superstore (I've forgotten the name); an open bar (yes, they operate an open bar from 9am - 9pm!), a walking distance to Coco Bongo and lots of night life, nice restaurants around. It ticked the right boxes.
Well, it isn't in the most luxurious part of the city. If I didn't venture out, I would not have seen La Isla and loads of resorts abd spas up the other side of the city. But it takes nothing from Aloft.

La posizione ed il free bar
Abbiamo prenotato una camera partial view sul mare ma si vedeva solo un muro.
La piscina era inutilizzabile il giorno in cui siamo stati ma ci hanno offerto l'accesso, senza consumazione, ad un beach club

Well it is a marriott
Reception service. They took a deposit and when we were checking out had to wait 20 minutes fir them to check the room. Receptionist was rude when we asked to speed up “check”.
