The placement is just in the heart of Reykjavik, right next to the rainbow street.

Great place to stay, central

Loved the central location, the deck, the kitchen and sitting room areas.
I wasn’t crazy about the 3 flights of stairs up to my room especially as my bad hip acted up and climbing them at the end of the day was a struggle. Made me wonder how someone with a disability would cope! I don’t remember seeing anything about the stairs in the ad.

The location was wonderful and everything was very clean.
We felt the listing was deceptive. It appears to be an entire apartment but is in fact 4 different rooms with a shared living/dining/kitchen area. The other people staying at the same time also expected it to be a full private apartment. While we had a private bath, it was incredibly tiny with no surface area. The sink was the smallest I've ever seen. With 2 teenagers, it was uncomfortable. With 4 carry-on size suitcases and 4 backpacks, the bedroom was pretty full but managable. For 1 night, it was a good place to leave our stuff while we explored the neighborhood and sleep.
