Lovely room, decent food, comfy bed
Could’ve done with more breakfast options - no fresh fruit or yoghurt, cereals were just the little boxes & a jar of not very good muesli.

Lovely old inn Nice welcome The young lady in the bar was very helpful advising us about our visit to nearby Powderham castle concert Very comfortable bedroom
On arrival we we asked to fill in a form for the next days breakfast as the chap was by himself to prepare. Breakfast was served between 8:30 to 9: 30 The following morning at 9: 10 while walking down the stairs l was volubly berated for being late by a staff member in a very rude manner! It wasn’t made clear breakfast was booked for the same time each morning I took exception to being treated in this way and my stay was spoiled to being spoken to in such a rude way .
