Wonderful hosts so friendly. Accommodation absolutely spotless Good location, we walked into town, walked our feet off had fantastic meal at Thai Balcony and got taxi back for only £5.50, could have walked but have bad knee!

Property was on a corner, difficult with parking in driveway. Also in leaving getting car out and rushed to leave as other people needed us to move our car so they could out. Kind of ruined the experience

The owners were lovely and welcoming, the property was clean, and breakfast was cooked and ready on time. I appreciated their hospitality. However, the accommodation itself was disappointing for £120 per night. The room felt very small, and the bed was too short for me, with my feet hanging over the end. The shared toilet was also cramped, and having to check whether it was available or wait to use the shared bathroom for a shower or bath made the stay less comfortable. For me, it felt more like renting a room in someone’s home than the comfortable getaway I had hoped for. At this price, I expected more comfort and privacy. If a hotel room with a private bathroom were available for an extra £20–£30, I would personally choose that. The hosts were genuinely nice, but this type of accommodation wasn’t right for me. In future, a room with shared facilities would be my last option.

This accommodation may suit a solo traveller who is comfortable sharing facilities with the owners, but it was not right for me. Although I appreciated the hosts’ kindness, I would only consider this type of accommodation as a last option in future.
