I love the staff... always ready to assist you and always smiling. The building was clean and there were on going fixes every time just to make sure everything was okay.

Everything was great but maybe the breakfast could be spiced up a bit. It was the same breakfast every day and maybe there could be a name tag on each food. But it was a delicious and great breakfast. There was always somebody there to assist

Breakfast ok, location good

One of the nights i can barely sleep, the window has issues and it was buzzing really loud at random intervals during the night, not even the tv nor white noise can mask it

It was relatively cheap. Nice staff. Clean linen and towels . Lovely girls on reception at check in and check out.

Shower tiles were cracked and badly repaired. Shower door fell off rollers when I slid the door open. Instant coffee at breakfast (expect it in the room at a budget hotel but not at breakfast) window view was of a roof. Cold corridor.

It was quite clean and easy to locate

The staff were not particularly pleasant and looked miserable. Then why have such a big space and don't have a restaurant where guests can eat? We have to go pick our meals like prisoners. Also, their breakfast is proper horrible and don't think I will be returning

Looked very festive and inviting. Nice bathroom and piping hot water. Comfortable bed. I liked walk in wardrobe. Friendly staff :-)

Couldn’t work out heating but staff rectified that. Outdated furniture. Uncomfortable to eat breakfast without tables and chairs. View from first floor windows was just pipes of property. Apart from that , it was a comfortable stay.

It was local to where I was travelling to.

There was no restaurant. Your breakfast was in a box which you had to order and wait around 10minutes for it to be prepared and take it to your room. Minimum facilities in the room.

The design of the hotel is really nice and gives a completely different look to other hotels that I’ve stayed in.

Good size banqueting rooms for events.

The rooms were minimal and badly decorated. In the standard room there were no wardrobes. We upgraded to the executive room and it was decorated like a brothel. The Grand Sapphire is not equipped to be a hotel. It has no restaurants, no bar. Breakfast had to be picked up as a takeaway from reception. The breakfast was dry and tasteless. Would have been better off with a McDonald’s breakfast.

Very noisy then early hours of the morning it sounded like people were building outside. Also I don't know what room the person was in but their snoring kept me awake for a good few hours.

The property looked impressive from the outside and grand , as the name suggested. it is clean and the reception area/hall for the wedding reception was fantastic, spacious, inviting and beautifully decorated. THE STAFF WERE PLEASANT, HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS AT ALL TIMES. Breakfast was adequate, considering….

We were aghast that having paid for breakfast, we were not told we had to order in advance…when we did order had to wait for 15-20 minutes for breakfast to be served in a brown paper bag. WORSE STILL TO FIND OUT THERE WAS NOT EVEN A RESTAURANT, OR SEATING AREA TO EAT!!! BASIC HUMAN NEEDS/RIGHTS! We were expected to eat in our rooms!! The hotel itself was a bit out dated and could do with decorating, especially the wood work. The single rooms were extremely small and pokey. Frightened to move in the cubical call a bathroom, for fear of knocking yourself. Although the staff were WONDERFUL, HELPFUL AND EXTREMELY COURTEOUS, they were over worked and had to multi task, so staffing levels were inadequate, considering the huge event taking place on that weekend, staffing levels should have been raised! I’m not a smoker and my room for some reason reeked of smoke during the night, so much so the when I put on my COAP machine the following night at home it reeked of cigarette smoke! (Who was smoking…where was the smell coming from? No security to detect this!)
