I'd booked a small double, at first glance it looked really basic/ little dated but the room was spotless, bathroom really clean and had everything needed, including a fridge. Had a great nights sleep.
The restaurant-couldn't fault the food, opted for the garlic chicken kebab, it was amazing! If I'd noticed the fridge in my room earlier I'd have taken leftovers.
It's just a little dated in the corridor/ stairs-but that doesn't matter as you don't spend time there.

Good value for money, quiet considering main road, parking, fridge a plus, good size room with seating,
Very friendly staff considering how busy they are running a popular restaurant
Toilet flush could be simpler, easy handle for instance
Shower good, but again could have been easier to understand hot/cold etc, also addition of stick on shelving to hold gels, shampoos etc would be handy

Good to have a restaurant onside for evening meal
Room was a little cold. Prefer mug for tea rather than tea cup
