very good location with a short walk to pretty much the whole of whitby. Very comfy bed and room. Staff were very friendly and hard working and the breakfast was made to order and hot with a great view over the river.
the shower room was a bit grubby and the shower head kept falling down so difficult to get washed properly.

Breakfast was good, as ever. We have stayed here many times, due its excellent central location and the views over the harbour from our room.
The Dolphin is a busy venue, justifiably so. Inevitably some fittings or appliances may need attention between room bookings, difficult in the time available. Cleanliness is excellent.

Breakfast good
The room had the light fittings dangling dangerously. The shower head did not stay in position and the bed was extremely hard.

"Fabulous central location. Breakfast was delicious & the staff were lovely. I always love a pub stay, the character of the old buildings is in everything."
