Lovely hotel clean with friendly staff
Bit dated in places
Bed was very uncomfortable had seen better days. Lumpy springy and small.
Unable to get a cocktail at 10pm even though bar was open until 11pm. Reason I was given they’d washed all the ‘things’ used to make cocktails

Lovely comfy beds and breakfast was varied & good
Other people adjoining rooms having their TV’s on until 1am! Hardly slept as could hear the dialogue - no phones in rooms so couldn’t phone reception to ask them to ask these occupant’s to turn their tv’s off or put subtitles on
Scenic view spoiled by the scaffolding! Not advised there was scaffolding spoiling it

We enjoyed the lounge area,bar,and restaurant,
The room we stayed in was not what I seen online when I booked the hotel stay,the rooms online were very modern unlike our room which was clean enough but we found it very small and the furnishings were old,the breakfast the following morning was none existent I complained to kitchen staff they said one of the employees rang in sick so they were understaffed all that was avaliable food wise was bacon tomatos mushrooms,they had no sausages eggs black pudding beans fried bread,so we left as the car park expired at 10am at the front of the hotel
