This was my first time staying at 'The Moxy' in York, and it was a fabulous hotel... and wonderful place to stay while in York. The hotel was a quick cab ride from the train station and centrally located in the city. It was within walking distance to all of the amazing shops, restaurants, pubs, river, and parks. My room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. From the moment I arrived, to my departure all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby/bar/restaurant area was comfortable and convenient with great meal and snack options. I would definitely stay at 'The Moxy' when I'm in York again...and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in York. It was the perfect place to call home while in York.
Everything was perfect.

Nice location
No wardrobe only 2 hangers on a hook, booking a queen room you’d think the room itself would be bigger not just 2 single beds pushed. Also a little fridge to keep drinks and snacks cool wouldn’t do any harm. Also the size of the bathroom is tiny
