Incredible location and our room had a lovely view of the minster. Bathroom was spacious and everything worked well.
Breakfast was fair.

Excellent staff which made our stay so relaxing.
Perhaps the hotel, certainly from what we saw, needs some TLC. Especially around the bar area and probably in the bedroom where we were. Just carpets/ upholstery was in need of attention.

The location
The older woman on reception- I was trying to explain that as an older person, to hang a card on the door to ask for the room not to be cleaned is preferable over having to log into an app. She was very dismissive. Also, the room had a skylight rather than a window which opened

Breakfast OK but not exceptional. Evening meals were from a nice varied menu.
Location was ideal for what we wanted to see - all within walking distance.
Room was small and tired looking. Bed was small. It was appreciated that we were given a room fairly close to the lift.
