The breakfast was excellent really good choice of food . There was a cooked breakfast if you wanted or cereal and there was fruit . There were hot drinks and cold drinks . There was also a toaster
Nothing

Stayed here a few times and staff are really nice and location is good as it has free parking. Uber into York is about £9 and there is also a park and ride . Needs updating but good value for money for York.
Needs a bit of updating .

Stayed for the York Ebor. The downstairs was beautiful
The room was extremely dated. It definitely needs updating.
We paid a fortune for one night as the prices are clearly massively inflated for the races but we know to book a lot more in advanced if we are going to the races again in the future to get a better deal

Reception tasteful. Reception welcoming. Good bar staff.
Poor Menu choices in restaurant. Needs to be more inviting. Room looking a bit tired. Bathroom dirty and needed replacing in many parts. Perhaps offer bottled water in rooms as ominous bottle containing "water" did not look clean water. Yuck!
