Extremely comfortable beds and lovely staff

Good hotel with all the Indian restaurants near by max walk 15min to most Indian restaurants. Budget friendly with free laundry.

Some receptionist speak good English while some don't.

The staff at Chez Mimosa were outstanding; our host was so incredibly welcoming and kind. She made us feel right at home. We happened to stay here on my birthday and even though I didn't mention this to staff, I was pleasantly surprised when our host gifted me with a small birthday cake as we checked out. This really made my stay here feel so special and I cannot thank our host enough for her wonderful hospitality.

It is always an awful feeling leaving negative feedback when hosts are so exceptional but I want to be honest for the sake of other travellers. It's important to note that I didn't actually end up staying at Chez Mimosa Boutique. Our airport transport (arranged via the hotel) brought us to Chez Mimosa Local Homestay - which is not where I booked and the host did not mention this to me upon check-in. I raised the issue via Booking.com after we checked out and the host claimed it was a room upgrade that I happily agreed to, which is simply not true. Unfortunately the location of the hotel was quite unpleasant - dirty and smelly. The room itself was outdated and the bathroom was mouldy. Our balcony overlooked a very sad looking street where we saw rats everywhere at night. Personally I found the photos to be very misleading and I think the hotel is in need of a big refurbishment.

This felt like a home in Saigon! They upgraded me to Chez Mimosa Petite from my original booking and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The staff were all so friendly and willing to help! Kate, Phat and the other 2 staff members (sorry, didn't get their names but miss was always making breakfast and the guy worked reception) you guys are a real credit to this hotel and I can't thank you enough for a truly excellent stay. No faults or any issues of any kind. This is the place I'll remember during my travels in Vietnam and the one I'll return to when I'm back. Can't be praised highly enough. Stay here :)

Everything was perfect

Staff were amazing. Family room was fantastic with lots of room. Everyone went the extra mile to make our stay very good.

On a very busy street and road traffic, hawkers etc very loud on the first floor.

Friendly efficient staff, good communication and willingness to help at all times. The sister hotel is very close and equally good, with a cosy rooftop bar offering a free drink every evening, plus good food. - small selection of Vietnamese dishes. Comfortable beds, lovely decor and huge rooms. Even a nightly footbath to help you unwind. The location is great for the market in the street and also good local restaurants close by.
