Island Concept Chania

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and great view.

Had issue with a bathroom door upon arrival, but it was quickly fixed. Internet connection sometimes.

Location was great. Short drive to old town Chania. Nice street for evening walk and plenty of different restaurants to eat. The hotel location was beautiful to watch spectacular sunsets. Great drinks at the hotel.

The showers in the bathroom to be a little more clean. The drainage and base of shower no so appealing.

Everything!

It might be a little noisy because it’s so close to the sea, but for us, that was just a plus.

It’s on the beach and close to really nice restaurants.

We stayed for four nights and overall found it just okay. The staff were friendly, but for almost €200 a night we expected more. The room was very basic, with a kettle but no tea or coffee provided, and cleanliness could have been better. Breakfast was also quite limited, with six items chosen from a tick-box menu each morning. It can be quite noisy too, we heard a dog barking every night when we went to bed and noise from other guests carries easily. I also wouldn’t really describe it as a hotel; it felt more like rooms with breakfast included. It’s family-run and everyone was pleasant, but unfortunately we didn’t feel it was good value for the price we paid.
