The actual room was as described. It was large and comfortable.

Our property wasn’t in the pictures shown to us on the booking.com website. It was 50 yards away and nowhere near as nice as the one shown. The room was quite dark with no natural light if you wanted privacy. Jacuzzi wasn’t cleaned for the length of our stay, there were no robes or iPad as described, on the website. The exterior of the property wasn’t very nice, there wasn’t anywhere really to sit outside. It was also covered in graffiti. Was a real shame that the property isn’t in the setting that the pictures show.

The location was perfect for exploring the old town of Chania - everything was within walking distance. The room was comfortable and new. Would stay again.

Our original room was located in the annex building of the hotel. It was a bit too noisy for us but the host graciously accommodated our request to move room in the nearby building.

The architecture of this place is stunning, and the interior design is exceptional. The location so close to the harbour is fantastic! Chania is charming, and this is a perfect spot from which to explore it!

While it is an exceptional place, there is plenty of room for improvement: there is very little storage space, and way too many deco items on the surfaces, which are totally impractical for visitors, such as wooden bowls and vases with dead flowers (we were tempted to throw them away - they are horrible!). There are coffee and tea facilities but with only tiny espresso cups I don‘t see how we would have made a cup of tea. The fridge is tiny, without an ice compartment (so the ice bucket is really rather pointless), and almost every part of the fridge is broken. So is one of the sockets in the bedroom. The card slot for the electricity to come on is finnicky and takes some persuading, and one of the TVs didn’t have any signal (not that we needed it). The ultimate proof that the apartment needs some loving attention was the folder of covid information (in 2026!!!) but otherwise a lack of information how anything in the apartment works. The area is rather noisy in the evenings, so don’t go if you are a light sleeper.

it was a good location. the complimentary water s everyday are nice. the AC went to 17C. cool staircase under glass floor in the bedroom. slippers. daily housekeeping. easy checkout

the #1 complaint I have is the musty/ broccoli/ wet rock smell. no matter how long the AC is on it is awful. maybe because it was 80-90f while we were there? luckily it was confined to half of our room. there is room for improvement in the place: bubbling paint, shower door coming off on top, smell. there was a balcony, we could only figure out how to get half the door/ window open so it was a tight squeeze. I read in other reviews there was a breakfast that was partnered with this place- there was none. no concierge. it’s truly more of an Air Bnb than a hotel. recommendations weren’t very helpful. no Netflix set up on the tv.
