Anami Hotel Boutique

My wife and I are full-time global nomadic travelers. As such, we “live” in hotels around the world so we have pretty high standards. We actually stated at the Anami Hotel Boutique twice within two weeks. This property is special! Our room was large with lots of character. The property is perfectly situated in the Sopocachi district which is perfect for exploring the highlights of La Paz. The Anami Hotel Boutique is one of the few properties within the district that has a beautiful garden with the hotel. The property – with the beautiful garden and flowers - is so lovely to relax at after a busy day. It is truly an oasis within La Paz. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel overlooking the lovely garden. The chef prepared eggs-to-order every morning for my wife and I which were so tasty! And all the fresh-baked bread and fruit hit the spot every morning! But the best part of our two stays at the Anami Hotel was the staff. Each member of the team (housekeeping, dining, and front office) went above and beyond to make our stay special. I would like to give a special mention to Juan who is the property manager. Juan simply has a talent for hospitality and every day ensured we had everything we needed for the day. He clearly enjoyed interacting with the guests and we appreciated his attention to detail. And we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Juan to learn more about Bolivia and La Paz. He is the consummate “ambassador” for the Anami Hotel Boutique. We cannot wait to stay again at the Anami Hotel Boutique on a future visit to La Paz!

Excellent property

Tutto perfetto, camera bellissima ottima colazione a staff sempre disponibile per aiutarci con l’organizzazione del viaggio. Ci hanno anche concesso di avere un early check in dopo un lungo viaggio in night bus da Uyuni. Davvero gentili!

Niente, tutto perfetto

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was large and spacious. Cute little colonial style hotel.

Service is friendly and accommodating although English was not great but they tried and it was far better than my Spanish. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was not soundproof so we could hear everything that was happening outside on the street. Every car, every drunk argument, every footstep walking past at night. The bathroom had no ventilation or exhaust fan. It was so spacious and large and yet had no space to hang or put anything on (a rail, some bench space and some hooks would've been nice to have). No lifts, but only going up 1 flight of stairs so if you have heavy luggages, that might be a struggle. The location is OK but not central to anything. The bed and pillows are uncomfortable. There was peeling paint and cracks in the walls. The decor is cute, but not useful to that space. The breakky was average.
