Beautiful presented home and so peaceful

Hazel Cottage in one word: Miraculous! This retreat has exceeded all our expectations. Right from the beginning when arranging the visit, the owners have been so much more than hosts, they made one feel at home. Arriving late at night, we quickly found the key and entered a cosily warmed up cottage, which has been decorated for Christmas at its best. Not only that the lights and warmth embraced us right away, but also we found homemade scones, butter, jam and cheese for the brekkie the next morning. The cottage itself is really fully equipped. Everything there to enable one travelling light but still enjoying all the comforts: The beds were made, towels proivded, dishwasher tabs there, a washing mashine and the usual toileteries one normally does only expect in hotles. All these little things helped so much to wind down right away. The kitchen is extreamly well stuffed, which made cooking not only easy but intriguing. The bedrooms were tidy, spacious and comfortable and the main living room and dinner area were so wonderfuilly decorated, that more than once we thoguht about moving in. This cottage easily sleeps six but due to the setup, there is definetly enough space and the bubble bath and sauna are nice add ons (only used the sauna). We also had the pleasure to visit the O'Brians farm and that welcome was even more friendly and caring. Already looking forward to come back, we can only say "Thank you very much, Maria and Jim!"
